I think Penguin and Kingpin are a bit too close to each other to make an interesting fusion. They're very similar characters, but that's the problem, where's the hook exactly? What makes this pairing unique? Two characters that are almost the same just makes it boring and pointless. For Kingpin maybe someone like the Joker: Clown King, King Jester, Clown King of Crime, something like that. The criminal mastermind and power of the Kingpin, paired with unhinged lunacy. A good Amalgam character needs to be made of characters that are somewhat connected, but there's also gotta be some differences to make it unique. Riddler/Kingpin was a poor choice, it's just stupid jokes.

It works when you remember that in MC2 (the spider-girl universe) Wild Thing is the daughter of Wolverine and Elektra. So it actually makes it work since you can combine her with the Helena Wayne Huntress pretty seamlessly.

Personally, if I were to fuse Cassandra Cain for a future Amalgam comic, I would go with X-23. Both were teenage girls who were bred to become living weapons, but eventually broke free to become heroes. Even fits with them fusing Batman and Wolverine together.

Fisk and Cobblepot actually have quite a bit in common when it comes to their roles and how they interact with their cities' street-level heroes, plus "King Penguin" actually sounds kinda badass. Rose Wilson wasn’t “Ravager” until the mid 2000s, long after this book was published, and in the 90s Rose was a much more well adjusted person. And yet, Dare is eerily close to the character Rose became in the mid 2000s. I guess that’s just how much the “Deathstroke’s Daughter” angle got pushed for her to the exclusion of all previous characterization.

As then you just get the generic Character type that both characters were built off of Like super soldier works because. The Catsai and Dare fusions are so weird, especially if you consider the characters at the time this was done. Elektra had JUST came back to the comics scene during Fall From Grace, Daredevil had left his "Jack Battlin" persona and the goofy black armor, Deathstroke was near the end of his original run and Catwoman was just getting started. As everyone's stated, nowadays, numerous fusions just wouldn't work and there would be more iconic characters being fused.

You know, because i didn't know Deathtroke (Teen Titans were not published in France at this time ) when i red this comics I thought Dardevil was fused with Zealot from Wild C.A.T.S

It’s kind of fun to see Ninja-Style Dancer here, given he first appeared in a Marvel comic about a cat-themed superhero. Wired probably had the best caption box, if only because “Cable” is a pretty simplistic name anyway. If I were doing these, I’d have Amalgamated Kingpin and Penguin: King Pen? So, why does Dare have horns? Daredevil’s horns are just part of his mask not his actual head. Once again, zero thought went into making this character.

The obvious choice for merging with Cassandra Cain is Laura Kinney. You could even call her Dark Claw and it would make more sense than merging Logan and Batman ever did...

Given this was the 90s, I'm surprised and a bit disappointed they didn't go with Deathdevil as the name for the Daredevil/Deathstroke amalgamation.
