One of the things I appreciate about the boxer sub-plot is that, while the guy's fans were toxic, O'Malley(?) was a stand-up guy. He told his fans to knock it off, was supportive of his opponent even after the match and the two are seen working together at the end of the comic, implying that they were very likely hanging out together for some reason (maybe to chat, give pointers or even maybe to train). Many times in stories like these, this character would have been behind the harassment and would be selfish, vain and ultimately villainous. Instead, he was very much the opposite. Good bit of writing honestly.

How has there not been a Mr. T and He-Man crossover? The kind of values he champions is the kind of thing He-Man and co championed in their end-of-episode PSAs back in the day. And you know that even if Mr. T and He-Man were to fight, they'd treat it as a friendly bout. Heck, after listening to that recording He-Man's original voice actor sent to a gravelly-ill kid, I can easily imagine He-Man offering to throw a fight to make sure Mr. T's fans aren't disheartened. And of course, Mr. T would appreciate the thought but insist on fighting fair and square.

I think out of all the Mr T stuff you plan to do down the line, the one I look forward to the most is Rocky III. The Rocky+Creed films are one of my favorite film sagas of all time that sure may be “simple” boxing films, but they have tons of character, heart and story to them. Ironically Rocky III is among the lower half in my personal ranking, but I’ll get more into that when that’s on the docket.

Pity the fool and help those who need it, blind people so hard with your bling they die from sunburns... weirdest part is that if you think about his storyline combat methods, Linkara doesn't seem to have those features though, it's almost like he's got Hexblade features (Accursed Specter could be summoning Margaret, or maybe opening a Pokeball) or maybe even Fiend (Hurl Through Hell could be refluffed as Comicron One's cannons or somesuch)... Maybe he just _thinks_ Mr. T is his Patron, but in reality it's Margaret? (and yes I'll confess I had to look up her name, the spirit of the gun)

One night in the early 80s, my parents and a 5 uear-old me got home from a Mother's Day dinner. My Dad turned on the TV, tuned to HBO and the end of Rocky 3 was on. I remember crying my eyes out because Mr.T lost. At that point they decided I was tired and it was past my bedtime. But to this day I'll forever remember that traumatic event.

Your comments about at the end of the review sums up my feelings about Superman, and the apparent need some writers have to either give all villains either magic or kryptonite, or severely nerf his power set. If the only thing the audience is concerned about is the hero's life, something's gone wrong with the writing process imo.
