Unfortunately, the way I see it, is that we was neither a hero nor legend. He's a coward. He left his family in an act of selfishness, instead of facing his fucking problems. Depression isn't anything new. There's nothing you cannot fail to overcome, unless you quit. The only time you fail, is when you quit. He quit his problems, his happiness, and his family.

Mike is always so happy when performing, he's always smiling and it seems like he still can't believe how much they're loved by their fans because he always stares so lovingly at them, especially when they're singing or rapping their songs.. just watching him puts a smile on my face, I love him. I'm so sorry for him, all LP bandmates in general and the Bennington family for losing Chester, their loved one, their friend, and our hero. R.I.P.

I have struggled with depression everyday and Chester and the rest of Linkin Park have made my life so much better just by letting me know (through their music and kind words) that I am not alone. Now since Chester died, I feel even more alone even though I can feel Chester's spirit hugging me and his voice telling me to keep pushing on with life in his memory, it's still so hard for me to keep going because Chester (just like the rest of Linkin Park) became one of my rocks that I have (and will) always lean on when I'm going through my depression. I just wish I could have told Chester thank u for making music that has shine light in my darkness that is my life. His spirit is still with me and I feel like it will always be with me. We need more Chesters and Mikes in this world. I have (and always) will look up to Linkin Park #RIPChester #fuckdepression #MakeChesterProud. There’s something about LP performing in a train station that’s really wholesome.
@zedgovos4914
@zedgovos4914 4 жыл бұрын
I guess it's the connotation and association of train stations with regular working class folk (work alone has some negative feelings associated with it). And then dudes like Linkin Park, big name folks who have performed across the globe in huge stadiums showing up with a minimal set up just to play some music to make everyone's days better.

I was so lucky to see both Incubus AND Linkin Park at the same show, the Honda Civic Tour, when they came to Cincinnati years ago. It was the most amazing and euphoric experience of my life. My mom and my sis and best friend and her husband were with me. Incubus went first and the vibe was so chill and happy as they played while the sun was setting. Linkin Park played after night hit and the air was literally electric with excitement. They played all their best old stuff and a few newer songs. I knew every single word and danced like a maniac all night. I'm so grateful for the experience.
@NataMessi

I feel you. Its same story.. I was 8 when they started, n I fell in love with them instantly. A the way through hybrid theory to one more light. When I was a teenager, I wanted to go so badly, coz they performed many times in my country, but I wasn't allowed to go. N then when u r an adult, life messes with u, so u always live up by the future , like , after im done with this thing, I will definately do that or smth.. but honestly, I realised how much of moments, experiences then we miss out. I do regret so much, I couldn't see them, but I also try to think that noone could know that after 2017 we couldn't see all of them together again? We could have gone to concert in 2018, if it wasn't the way its now, right? N if it wouod have happened in 2018, then we would think, "why did I go just once, n not more, I should have" .. so we could NEVER know, n let's try to not beat ourselves up for it so much.. we can try just to appreciate more present, n take chances as much as possible. Coz this was a lesson, in a way.. we could just learn from it, that's the most we can do. Take good care! ~Hugs~

There was an authentic nature to this giant band. Even when they would do shows like this it was as if you could just approach them, and say thanks. I connected with their form of art and music like a bridge from my adolescence to adulthood. It felt like they were the swan song metal band to the 90s and rap. Everything changed after they blended all these diff genres. Miss Chester’s vocals and haunting screams.
