@@Snorkelpirate It definitely is hard to believe :( He left us with some beautiful art. though. We're all so lucky to have gotten to see, hear and enjoy his talents. To answer Mike's question about where that "bounce" came from. It came from Korn. When Head, one of the guitarist of Korn, couldn't reach the guitar chord on his 7 String because the neck was thicker, he started bending over to reach the chord. That was one of my favorite things from the Nu Metal era live shows, and definitely not stupid. Once Metalcore began to take over and Nu Metal died out, I would revert back to the One Step Closer video just to see the "bounce."

My son indirectly introduced LP to me. He has always loved this band and was in HS when they came out with HT and has been to at least 5 or 6 LP concerts. They are one of his 2 top bands. His love for rock music actually came from me as hard rock is my favorite genre. I fell in love with LP around 2007 and quickly caught up and blasted all their albums from my car with the moon roof opened singing at the top of my lungs. I loved the loud guitars and manic drumming (Rob Bourdon is so underrated) like One Step Closer, What I’ve Done, New Divide, Burn it Down, etc. I also love listening to Chester sing the ballads like Pushing Me Away (so underrated), Shadow of the Day, Numb, Crawling, Leave out all the Rest, One More Light etc. LP wrote lyrics that resonated across all age groups and Chester knew just how to sing those words. At their last show in the UK at Birmingham, he sung Crawling in the most heartfelt way with just Mike at the keyboards it was also the most haunting and beautifully sung version of that song he’s ever done. When Chester died, I could not listen to any of their music until just recently, and I’m actually more devastated now than in 2017. Observing his wit, charm, kindness, humbleness, joyfulness, and life as a family man through the gift of videos on this platform has resulted in many tears and laughter. What a huge hole he has left. He truly is beloved by people all over the world and rightfully so. I miss him more than words can say.

Never get tired of watching, looking back at LPs performances. It made me happy to see you guys smiling and joking. Much love and appreciation for all that you have done and given to your fans over the decades.

I'm from Malaysia. I'm a fan since I was in middle school. The day I finally able to purchase my own walkman, I bought Linkin Park cassette and listen it every single day. Hybrid Theory and Meteora were my favourite. Even when at college until today, my device have several linkin park song that I keep and listen to. I always want to go to Linkin Park concert but it's impossible knowingly my country is far from where your concert being held. I got no enough money to cover the travel expenses, the ticket, accommodation, etc. However, I didn't give up, I began saving money and keep dreaming on going any of Linkin Park concert. Anyhow, things seem not as planned and tragedy happened. I were devastated but I know the other band mate definitely feel a lot worse than I did. I'll continue supporting my fav band, wishing the best for the band and rest in peace Chester. LP FOREVER!

FarizzulFarouk Hi, fellow friend! I’m from Malaysia too! I fell in love with them when I was 12 years old, and I’m still in love with all of them. Like you, I saved money and I was hoping that they’ll come to Malaysia one day. It broke my heart when Chester passed away, and now I can’t listen to their song without tearing up. Keep on rocking, LP!

I'm Malaysian and I started listening to LP when I was 8yo in the year 2000, the year Hybrid Theory was released, a local channel tv play In The End in the music section in the morning and I instantly became a fan of LP to this day.. LP was the reason I start listening to Rock and eventually Metal.. Love you all forever and our dearest Chester will forever be missed..

In the End and Numb are two of my favorite Linkin Park Songs. Chester sings like an angel and screams like a devil and Mike is simply brilliant and the whole band is a gift to both rock and rap fans. As I grow older I realize how those linkin Park songs are so relevant in life. I am your new subscriber here.Just sad that I haven‘t seen you perform live and it feels like I am missing half of my life. Greetings from Austria🇦🇹
