In this Installation video we install one of our Universal Double Din T-Style radios into a 2014 Toyota Sienna.

2 Questions: 1. Does this retain factory controls (ie SYNC, Climate Control)? 2. Ford heated steering wheel toggle is via touch screen only, are you able to integrate that option? Thanks!!

James Appio the system in this video is a Universal Double Din. So it works like a normal Aftermarket Double Din radio. It would require 3rd part parts like an installation kit, harness adaptors, CANBUS adaptors and so on. The Universal doesn’t offer any factory integration. We do have a Ford F-Series and Ford Mustang radio that retains all those features though, well except SYNC. We do not retain SYNC. What kind of Ford do you have?

James Appio the APP icons are all set to move. But the majority of the time you wouldn’t be on the home page but in what ever source you were using.

I have a 2011 toyota sienna LE which has the exact internment system as the 2014 in the video (99% sure). Do I need any type of adapters or something for it to work on my sienna?

No. This is a universal radio and doesn't control AC

This looks cool! I have a mustang gt 2017 and plan to use the METRA kit which apparently can retain sync. Will this let me use sync functions? If not, can I use the voice control button on my steering wheel to at lease use google voice or Siri from my iphone? Can I still answer calls with my steering wheel?

This system is the same as any other aftermarket system. Not sure how the Metra kit works but if it is a universal application system then it will connect to ours just fine. The steering wheel interface will depend on which steering wheel interface you use. Our unit has the capability to program a pick up and hang up button. If you use our phone link system you can use Hey Siri and Google only while in the app though.

We no longer produce this radio. The new 10" Double Din is $900. Install would depend on who you went to for install.

It looks like a quality unit but mounting bracket sticking out just makes it look so cheap. I prefer flush flat to the dash.

Tien Tran ya some applications just don’t offer the space needed to do a big screen flush. You also have the car manufacturers Fe starting to do what everyone is calling the floating screen. We are just doing our best to offer big screens for as many folks as we can.

Damon we actually just had a customer install one of these in his Ram instead of the Ram unit. They both have their perks!

Well which is better? I kinda want the CD/DVD function but I want my factory camera and bluetooth if possible.

Damon well neither of the units retain the factory Bluetooth. Both replace it with its own built in one. Where the Double Din offers a DVD and the option to do wide screen, it requires 3rd party parts and a more intricate installation process. The Ram system is 100% plug-n-play installation and comes with all the needed harnesses and adaptors, but doesn’t have the DVD or adjustable screen for wide screen. It really comes down to preference and what features matter the most.

Damon the Ram unit doesn’t have a video output. But not sure if the factory WiFi will retain once the radio is removed either.

I have a question, can I use my factory rear tailgate camera amd my bluetooth on my Ram with this?

Damon well there are ways to retain the factory camera. It would require some use of either a 3rd parties interface or locating and wiring it in, would suggest contacting a local installation shop for that. It has the ability to do it but again wouldn’t be plug-n-Play like our Ram unit. As for the Bluetooth. The system comes with its own Bluetooth. Once you remove the factory system the factory Bluetooth goes with it.

@@yasiranzar4343 The movement is actually really fast. Though this system is no longer in production. We have since developed a new system with 3 times the RAM and 4 times the memory. Much faster and its running a newer Android version as well.
