I had the exact same reaction as you when i saw that video. Knowing that Linus was in Sim Lim , i would have drop everything i do and went to meet him. Great video by the way.

I didn't know about this video until you brought it up. See... even Linus does his research before jumping in any buying anything. Looking at it's video does reminds me of 2 things... 1) The disfunc NewStead... a local famous PC company that went bankrupt. Pity my friend who worked there. 2) The Mobile Air incident. There are strange laws that were unheard till then. Joven Chew was press by public to return the money and, being a jerk, he paid back the tourist in coins thinking it was funny. Saying take it or leave it and all documented down in video to show everyone he paid back. But it backfired (additional criminal charges for him) as there is a law (under the "Currency Act 1967") that limit of 20 coins per denomination for each transaction. Karma at best, shooting himself in the foot.
