Five years ago i watched this review and bought a 250d. I've now used it with three different builds and two different motherboards, currently have an r5 3600 and 5700xt in it and everything fits great and the thermals are awesome. Best case i've ever bought.

Hey, was wondering, do you run liquid cooling inside of this case? i cant tell if in the video he used liquid cooling or if he used 2 120mm fans instead
@DKM-uy5kv11 жыл бұрын
The fact that you can basically build a monster pc in a little ITX case is amazing and fascinating I always wanted to do an ITX build and I think this case is a good place to start since it's something i'll have very little restriction in
@TheQuikMix8 жыл бұрын
Perfect. This helped me to decide that this was the right case for the itx build I'm starting for my wife. Mandatory was a 5.25" optical, 2x2.5" 2x3.5" and room for a full-sized PSU. I think this is the first itx case that I've come across with all three of those features.

2x 80mm fans on the back (exhaust) 1x 140mm in the front (intake) This is ideal for the general airflow 1x 240mm radiator with push config on right And GPU cooling completely separate from the rest on the left side. This is ideal for CPU/GPU cooling Add in a fully modular power supply to get cable routing done right. With the hardrives and the optical drive you should then have an optimal running and cool system. I guess I have to build one of those next year....
@mygetrichslowplan11 жыл бұрын
I agree with everything except the 80mm fans, I would have them as intakes. I as a general rule go for positive pressure, plus, anything to help push extra air out through that rad would help.
@jonathanrussel664311 жыл бұрын
mygetrichslowplan positive pressure means more intake than outtake, though. I'd go for what WhyGuy said.
@Mfury00111 жыл бұрын
I would swap out that 140 for a 200 which it supports, more cfm less noise.
@mygetrichslowplan11 жыл бұрын
Jonathan Russel Yes, positive pressure is usually a good idea, especially in a smaller case. Positive pressure means that all nooks and crannies are being forced to be used as exhaust, meaning far less dust gets in, and makes cleaning much easier, all with little to no difference to cooling ability.
@WhyGuy238711 жыл бұрын
There is a reason why I chose it to be the way I said and why I wouldn't use a 200mm front fan. As you can see the front of the case has got a different type of intake as most other ones do. The air is supposed to get in from the edges on around the front panel and the free space between the dustfilter and panel. I thought that a simple airflow fans from the back into the front would be suboptimal here and strong pressure wpuldn't help eitber as it'd just push the air into the front panel. That's why I chose a 140mm preasure fan to force the air into the case and use the suction and airflow from the two back fans as exhaust. Bonus would be their higher situation because heat goes upwards. The reason why I didn't choose a 200mm fan is because "good" ones of these don't exist. As time goes on they will get louder and louder and sound like something is grinding on the inside. Whereas a 140mm one from Noctua would be strong quiet and long-term reliable. I hope you understand the thought behind my comment now :)

Why is those closed-loop water-coolers so popular, I mean I know they cool well, but I've heard that pump-failure after a couple of years of use is quite typical..
