Thats so stupid though and it explains everything in his stoner room. 🤣 PCI-Extension, 3 external fans from the botton (in addition to the 3 built-in fans!) and the heatsink & desk-fan is so ridiculous... 😂🤌🏻 All he needs to do is removing the plastic frame and cleaning the real heatsink of your graphics card and that entire construction becomes meaningless. 🤣🤌🏻 I highly doubt the 6 fans under the GPU do their job at all if the heatsink fins are that full of dust and dirt. 😅 Only reason it works is probably the desk-fan on the top. 😂

They did a video a year or two ago on why they don't bother activating Windows on most of the machines they show on screen. If I remember, the basic idea was that they're always changing out hardware and re-imaging drives, so it's not worth it to buy licenses for every short-term installation.
@Kyuubi840
@Kyuubi840 2 жыл бұрын
@@drewzero1 IIRC they do have enough purchased licenses for every computer, but it's too much of a hassle to re-activate them and migrate them around between setups, because if you migrate too often (by changing hardware) it doesn't re-activate by itself anymore and you have to call Microsoft.

For all you know that person is just physically sick and lives in a bad area. Or maybe they were just cleaning the gun beforehand. @bricaaron3978
@bricaaron3978 2 жыл бұрын
I recommend the combination of intra-aural earphones and either a subwoofer to rest your feet on, or a proper footboard with tactile transducer. It's the next-best thing to using intra-aural earphones along with a full tactile chair and footrest. Intra-aural earphones (NOT to be confused with earbuds which are garbage) deliver loud bass all the way down to 30 or even 20 Hz, which no headphones can do. They also naturally attenuate outside noise, which is great for immersion. But though you can _hear_ the bass, you obviously can't _feel_ it in your body. So the combination of IA earphones and subwoofer allows you to feel the bass. Whether it's the _CRUMP_ of a grenade, the _BOOM_ of a 12-gauge shotgun, the feel of the berm at the edge of a racetrack...or just the ability to feel all low sounds and musical notes...it is a great improvement to immersion. P.S. For anyone who wants great all-around IA earphones, pick up the Klipsch S3m if you can find them new online. They're discontinued, but still a great model.
@kadajawi6567

@@bricaaron3978 Why wouldn't headphones be able to reach 20 Hz? Speakers that go down there are kind of rare (though they exist, especially if they are active and reasonably sized), but headphones? Now... you can't feel the bass with headphones, that's true. But hear?

@@bricaaron3978 My priority at my PC desk is comfort, good headphones are cabled, which reduces my comfort level :) I appreciate your input though, I also live alone and my home is pretty well insulated for sound, so as long as I keep my windows closed, my neighbours wont hear a thing, not even subwoofer sounds.
@bricaaron3978
@bricaaron3978 2 жыл бұрын
@@kadajawi6567 *'Why wouldn't headphones be able to reach 20 Hz?"* It's pointless whether something can "reach" a frequency if the _amplitude_ isn't high enough to matter. Every speaker, or anything that contains a driver, has a frequency response graph, which shows the loudness at any given frequency. The reason that intra-aural earphones can produce LOUD bass (and sub-bass) is because they essentially create a miniature sub-woofer cabinet out of your ear canal. If you use IA earphones, you'll notice that there is no bass response until you push them in and get a _seal._ Then all of a sudden you get _loud, low bass._ Basically, the lower the frequency, the more acoustical power is required in order to hear it. So it takes far, far less power to hear 3,000 Hz than it does to hear 30 Hz at the same apparent volume. That's why subwoofers are so large. But by coupling the driver to your ear canal so that no air can escape, the air pressure from the little driver gets pushed directly to your eardrum---as if there were a little rod connecting the driver and eardrum that pushes and pulls.
@bricaaron3978
@bricaaron3978 2 жыл бұрын
@@QueenSaffryn *"...my neighbours wont hear a thing, not even subwoofer sounds."* Speakers aren't near as good for immersion, but yes---if you are fortunate enough to be able to run large subwoofers, you don't need IA earphones for loud, low bass!

13:10 : I own one of these! (Razer Orbweaver). I actually really like it, it's a lot more comfortable and intuitive then an actual keyboard for gaming, though I do wish it had a proper analog stick rather then just a d-pad (which, sadly, none of the newer models like the tartarus, nostromo re-rerelease, etc have done either). The Logitech g13 was a similar device that had one, but it was much less ergonomic. The Hori Assault Commander Pro/tacpro has one with a similar ergonomic form factor, but it's also not quite as ergonomic even if it's much better then the g13, and really the main issue is most games can't read both analog stick and keyboard input at once: most titles can only EITHER read a gamepad/controller or M+K input at once, sadly.
@StellarJay77
@StellarJay77 2 жыл бұрын
I daily game with a Tartarus Pro, the thumb stick being essentially keyboard input basically just takes the place of WASD movement keys in games. It not being analogue works fine for me. So I essentially take care of movement with just my thumb, instead of my thumb being dedicated to just one or two keys like space bar and alt, leaving the rest of my fingers to be able to have 18+ action keys at my disposal, more if I use modifiers. It works fantastic in MMO's for end game raiding.

@Ruhrpottpatriot
@Ruhrpottpatriot 2 жыл бұрын
Depends on the bed. Hammocks have the disadvantage that your spine isn't straight, which is preferred since it burdens the spinal disks least. But most people cheap out on either the mattress or the slatted frame and thus just make it worse. Anything below 800 USD for a 90x200cm combo is pure garbage and good beds start at 1000 minimum. Don't buy your mattress at IKEA or somewhere similar. Just... Don't. Hammocks have advantages, no denying it. A relative of mine was 12 years in the navy and always slept on a Hammock, never wanted anything else after that. They are cheaper than beds and are at least better than cheap mattresses.

@@Ruhrpottpatriot honestly, I actually pretty often just take naps on a rug on the floor. It keeps your spine straight, and I feel less compressed when I wake up. We evolved to sleep on the ground, so even though it's hard, I feel like it's pretty healthy for your bone structure.
@Ruhrpottpatriot
@Ruhrpottpatriot 2 жыл бұрын
@@shipwreck9146 No. Sleeping on the floor will not keep your Spine straight! Assuming you sleep sideways, then if you are male you have wider shoulders than hip and you're making a bend at the hip. Females usually need support at the waist or their spine will make have a U shape. Not to mention you need a pillow to keep your neck straight If you're sleeping on the belly, then women, unless they are flat as a board, have their chests in the way and will strain their spine that way. Not to mention that your head needs to be rotated left or right meaning you're twisting the spinal disks and straining your neck muscles. If you're sleeping on the back, then you need support in lumbar area, just like you do when you're sitting. None of the above can be achieved by just sleeping on the floor. If you feel "less compressed", then you have problems elsewhere, most likely the wrong chair (don't buy office chairs from IKEA either) or you're lacking sports. "We evolved to sleep on the ground" We also evolved not wearing shoes and hanging from trees. That's not an argument. Furthermore humans always used materials like straw and branches to NOT lie directly on the ground because that sucks and shortens your lifespan, or at least makes you very miserable when you're old. "I feel like it's pretty healthy for your bone structure." No not really. How do we know that? Because we already made comparative studies between Europeans and Japanese, the latter which usually slept on tatami mats until very recently. The findings? Japanese spines were on average much less in the double S form and more straight. This leads to the spine not being able to take as much weight and in general be bad for a persons health.

I have the feeling that the phones in the first one could also be for makeshift full body tracking in vr. The quest allows for makeshift tracking, as long as you know what you're doing

Curious how a Lenovo laptop doesn't have Windows activated, I'm pretty sure there'd be a OEM licence with it.

They could've wiped the drive and have no access to it. Windows 10 wouldn't recognize my Laptop when I did that.

@@neoasura Windows devices have their product key stored in the bios (at least with devices sold since windows 10 as far as i know). Moving to a new install of windows (even doing a full wipe) should restore the product key unless: * the device was a custom build and never had a key in the bios in the first place (or the device wasn't sold with windows). * A different version of windows is being used than the version stored in the bios. TLDR: there should be a windows license in their laptop (and by extension yours too) that should activate windows. Only reason i can think of as to why it doesnt is what someone else said where it was a sample build.

5:55 - Fun fact. Last year, the Philippines spent 43,310,352.00 USD on Celeron laptops by Dell. Each unit was about 1000 USD. Smart of Dell to dispose of old tech for triple the price. Dumb of our politicians to fall for it.

What's wrong with wallet phone cases? Ignoring the obvious benefits of one for a moment, (wallet, does wallet things, screen is protected by the flap) by my count for all you gamers, if you're a gamer y'know, and you wanna hold your phone sideways and play the games with your thumbs, holding it up with your middle fingers under the wallet flap in the middle of the back of the phone is more ergonomic and allows for freer thumb movement than balancing it on your bottom fingers on the bottom. Go take your mom or whoever's wallet-cased phone and try holding it like that. Idk about you, but it's kinda great. It's like the phone is floating in front of your hands
