For context, the IRF is like this because it had recently undergone two era changes after Roblox started clamping down on soviet iconography. At first, it attempted to transition towards "1984-esque" totalitarian aesthetic set in the Cold War era rather than WW2, which it initially was. It then almost immediately transitioned towards being a neo-Tsarist group still set in the Cold War. There is some lore to explain this change but it honestly wasn't very good. As of now, the IRF has this weird mishmash of aesthetics because of the games not being able to update accordingly.

I was a senior officer in the Ministry of Admissions and I can guarantee you, It's a nightmare to get recommendations and criticism in the heads of HRs. They'll either warn you because you dare question their system, ignore you because you are a LR or just straight up demote you. And of course we can't forget about the fact that LRs have no power over the people who brought the admissions gamepass that can just ruin the border because they'll get no punishment whatsoever, meaning it's twice as hard to rank up when they start in the ministry if they don't get helped by officers that ACTUALLY have power. (and again, it's rare for officers to be naturally here, most of the time, they'll only be in the main game during patrols and events)

Was in the IRF back in 2017 - 2020, deputy director of admissions around 2018, on the central committee at some point, which then they decided to change eras and I became a council-man somehow, director of aviation at one point (don't ask). the owner is a douche who will straight up ban you for having even a slightly right wing opinion, or even dare support someone on the right. another thing was that ANY sort of criticism led to either demotion or exile, which is what happened to me and a few mates of mine, and we just went on to form our own group (now defunct) genuinely shit group with even shittier people inside it.

To be honest with you, I used to be an IRF (and other divisions mentioned in the paragraph) Guard back in 2022, and believe me, the old regulation is way better than the new regulation that teaches you today. Usually in my service as a guardsman, it is basically you would apply for the role and you would go to (3 stages of training.) Mostly they are easy, and Officers back then actually taught you how to guard a VIP or High-ranking personnel and maintain discipline in uniform (such as not talking in public except in team chat.) Nowadays, I kind of see the IRF as a weird mod of the old IRF I am familiar with, as there are new "divisions" or "changes" to the old divisions I used to be in like the NDD, MP, NKVD, or the Inspector role and etc. Kinda hilarious to see how the IRF is still acting as a serious military game and a nice and "calm" community over the past 2-3 years, tho it is nice to meet some people who understand the weird chaos in PP and Sevas of RK, RR and etc. You can bet me back then that a cadet would have the wrong "skin color" (Or just shooting citizens for no reason), constant hostile raids, or pay-to-use users buying admission game passes. Good times, though again, the IRF was fun while it lasted. I just found this video popped into my recommendation and it's nice to see the federation once again through the eyes of a KZbinr who hopefully ideally enjoyed a "communist feeling."

It isn't particularly different now, it's just that the new regulations kinda suck. The bigger issue I had was that they were teaching one set of regulations while simultaneously testing on another, so it caused a really confusing divide.

1812 Overture is actually such a good song, and using cannons instead of percussion towards the end absolutely carried it.
