that's a very good comment. comments like yours will start conversations, further generating buzz. i feel that we lack buzz. there IS buzz, but not enough. the people in-charge have to come up with more ways to generate buzz/interest. quality will be questioned, always. if fans can calibrate expectations at the moment, and come down to the stadiums to watch, things will kick off. once again, we need to keep talking about Singapore football.

its already begun...Clubs like Geylang International and Tampines Rover could be next to be privatize...LCS youth pipeline will produce quality players not just for themselves but other SG clubs too...one idea is to allow clubs to have their own home ground and build a community around the stadium...a night market complementing a pub pretty much the stuff we see in Europe even in the lower leagues...match schedules should cater to an average Singaporean family needs Friday nights and Saturday late afternoons...

Why must we replicate EPL, when we can create our own unqiue style - just like any other club in their own nation - their own football is unqiue to them... Too many foreign players quota in SPL, bring down the quota to 3 per teams so what the football club is well run but too less home grown players, and so far only LCS is a club run by a big company, why are the rest of the club not doing the same? What happen? SingTel, DBS, Sembcorp, Yeo’s

lol too many foreign players? but currently Asia football due to the saudis are going down the european clubs rules... end of the day you will still need to be able to compete regionally if not who will want to invest money in local clubs if they not gonna be able to perform on continental level

a-league clubs reduced foreign players because of the financial mess they got into (another dismal chapter in Australian Football) , promoted more young players - the football has been better to watch because of it. you do need foreign players to get the standards up but not at the expense of giving young players a go.

@@biot_travel definitely we still need good foreign players to bring up the levels of competition & fight for their position that's why my suggest to limit to 3 foreign players per club, 2 ang mo of any nationality.. & 1 Asia/asean players.. it definitely will groom our local players as more competitive.. rather than example LCS almost the first 11 team make up of foreign & asian but our local players limited.. is like the era of Dennis wise Chelsea era where there is only 2 British players himself & Jody Morris
