Tell me you know nothing about audio recording without telling me you know nothing about audio recording. Also use your eyes. You can see the lion raise his lip, start lightly (at first) clenching down, then harder and you can literally see the baby's body jerk sharply as his back breaks. Or could be sternum. But his little body definitely breaks in that lions teeth. BTW my phone can hear my heartbeat when it's sitting next to me on the couch. Yours can too. And that's nothing compared to even a halfway decent cardioid mic.

@@Robodie i'm not 100% sure, but i think the raising of the lion's lip when the newborn was in its mouth was also flehmen response, not him biting down

The lion was super gentle with it when it could've easily just crunched down on it or crushed it with its paws. Reminds me of my house cats when they had babies - they would be so gentle when holding them or moving the babies.

The only answer that makes sense to me is that the lion genuinely just didnt wanna hurt it and just moved it outta the way to not disturb the baby or herself basically the the lions just didnt feel ill intent in that moment also shows that lions aren't seriel killers they just do it for food or to protect themselves

@boxcutter4 The lion did probably moved it. They eat lots of animals and could have eaten it, but they seemed to gentle with the pup.

To all the “the lion snapped its spine at the end people” if you watch the full video he explains that he was much too far away for the mic to pick up a sound like that and that it was every him or the camera that made the sound. Do y’all really think this video isn’t zoomed in? Or that he had a boom mic hanging over the lions? I’m not saying he didn’t kill the baby, he might’ve, he might not have. The point is simply that the sound isn’t what you think it is. Also it likely would’ve been mercy had the lion killed it because unless it’s mother comes back quickly and by some miracle the baby isn’t already dehydrated beyond saving, it was out by itself for at least the hour the creator spent with the lions and for some amount of time before he came across them, it would die a slow death instead. It’s sad but it’s nature and it’s important to respect that.

Awwwww! I KNEW he didn’t eat that baby! I watched alot of lion vids and they can be very gentle!! They’re nothing like the bas tard, don’t K their prey hyenas!
@blooky1023 ай бұрын
Lions eat lion cubs if they are not related to them to be able to mate with the female that had the cub, so if that was a lion cub the lion would have ate it and many predators have a hunting response to things running away from them so if something doesn't run that is curious to the lions so they investigate.
@blooky1023 ай бұрын
Although its quite likely the honey badger was eaten still or simply moved away to not smell up the area that they were resting at.

Can no one tell the tooth if the lion went into the baby badger? You can hear a faint pop when the baby raises quickly, then goes limp when in the mouth. Probably killed it on accident when relocating it, as they have a similar smell to skunks supposedly.
