Lion king is by far my favorite movie, and musical of all time. I totally hope i can get my own copy of it.

I always admired how thematically complex this soundtrack was. Traditionally animated films such as this have less than half of the run times of live-action blockbuster features, and yet this film's score has about a dozen or so reoccurring motifs throughout it. Some used little than others, but are still genuine themes for a particular subject or character nonetheless. The Legacy Collection was a chance for people to finally take in the whole package(and more, given the inclusion of cues unused or cut short in the film itself).

Hans Zimmer was not the only reason this score was made great. There was Mark Mancina and Nick Glennie-Smith. And Meyerson, who mastered the album, did a horrible job, it is like loudness war all over the place on this album. Completely ruined Elephant Graveyard, and some, if not all, demos were slaughtered by this loudness war that goes on. In my opinion this release could have been so much better, and no offense but before you make these reviews at least act like you know what you're talking about.
