this clip seems to confirm the lions are by far the easiest animals to read and to be around. hyena society is a bit tricky and leopards usually are solitary creatures but lions live in prides with pretty obvious rules and none too cryptic communication patterns. wouldn't be surprised to learn Kevin himself feels most relaxed when in the company of lions.

Bobcat is my favorite male lion. The way he acts when he sees you and his way of talking to you and the look of happiness when he's head rubbing you reminds me of the way a favorite pet would act when they haven't seen you all day. As far as the female lion's it's either Meg or Gabs (if Amy were still around it would be her and Meg) they must think of you as the #1male, you can see it in their eyes. You are a very lucky man Kev, thanks for doing what you do for those poor felines, they look much happier after meeting you and your staff of great people who look out for the unfortunate ones.

Kevin+Bobcat=Bromance 💕❤️💕 Kevin, how do male lions know their cubs are their cubs when they first meet them?
@sharonf1062 жыл бұрын
I'm not a scientist, but I watch a lot of lion videos. Lionesses are amazingly smart. Sometimes, they will mate with several males when in estrus. My theory is that if the males "think" the cubs could be theirs, they're more accepting to the cubs, therefore the lioness plays it safe. It's also fascinating to see them in action when a strange lion approaches their pride. The lionesses will run up to them like a welcoming committee, while the moms will try to hide the cubs from them. If they're lucky, the males are distracted and their cubs safe.
