BLACKHAWK Universal Pistol Holster

Being an old fart when our church security team switched to that very holster (keep shooting $35.00) system it took me a minute to develop the mechanics of this type of draw. But after getting it adjusted correctly for my dimensions while wearing body armor and a few hours of training. I was able to develope a clean consistent swift draw. Unlike at times while drawing from my belt holster and my body armor would restrict motion.

I know this is from 2014 but just got one and its nice to be able to fit different pistols into the same holster but....what a pain in the ass to get all situated! My thumb release snap broke the first time I drew the pistol ( a quick trip to Home Depot for a snap installation kit, 6 bucks later and it was fixed). But now days they are 80 bucks and look just like the Condor ones that sell for 25 bucks!

Appreciate the video. Can you do one on how to mount the holster on a chest rig/plate carrier? Haven't found a single video on that but every video mentions you can mount it on your chest. Thanks.

Thanks Scott! I appreciate you watching. I may just do that. I do know that you can use molle strips, or quick sticks which weave through the holster molle and the chest mole. You can search molle straps and tons of companies make their variations of them, 5.11, Maxpedition, SOE, and much more.

The belt is condor, coyote tan matches coyote tan and army universal matches closely to foliage green. SOE special operations equipment is much better quality, but when I did this video, those are what I had, and they work well too.

Dude, I appreciate your review however, one thing to do in future. Show the back, can it be mounted onto a different platform? You showed the bottom which was great but you forgot the back. Seriously, the back and mounting options is important when we're thinking about making a purchase. Love the video, good job.

Sorry dude, for This company, the color I said is the correct color. For the Blackhawk holster, the one in this video, the color I said is the exactly word for word color listed on the tag on the bag this comes in.
