Its incredible whenever I watch one of your videos, so much information, so much knowledge... so much booze! I always love seeing these videos and grin when you point at things I own. Some of these have been on my radar and seeing you like them makes me want to get them more! Thank you for all of the videos!

Very interesting, as every year, Chris, I"ll need probably a few hours to comment & give suggestions too, so i will stop for now (whiskies wise, I'm going to give my own choices in my channel very soon, mind you), Cheers & keep up the good work....I noted some references I can find in my country, for the rest, let's say it'll stay in history & chance to try some maybe some day. Happy Holidays as well !

@@LiquorHound Thanks, Chris, that's very kind. You might be disappointed a bit though as this time I've decided to narrow down the list a bit through suppressing the other spirits for this year's list..(& some whisky categories). I did evoke some Armagnac & Cognac though in my French latest video description, but haven't tried enough 2024 releases to talk about them in this yearly recap context, but hope to do 2 overviews on video in 2025, one about Cognac, the other (or more if I can save time) about Armagnac. Also, I'm glad you've discovered Isle of Harris gin as I think I mentioned it to you last year, but hope you'll be able to try their single malt The Hearach soon too, it's as subtle as the gin, believe me. And sorry, I forgot to congrat you for your own whisky's award, well done ! Again I wish to be able to try your creations some day (even if they're blended with other distilleries) as I'm sure they'll be great ! Cheers !

Cheers man...also where the heck is yam 12 still 140! That's below store costs. And man I had to double check again that this is 2024...dewar's 21 over 100 now days. Was great when it was 60, but that's long gone.

Sorry to hear that about your area. Here in Texas we can still get them at those prices, and I just checked and you can get Yama 12 online for $159-$179 and the Dewars 21 Double Doubles for $67-$89. Thanks for watching and cheers!

A store near me had a JP Wisers I think 21yr old for 80 bucks finished in Port. I waited too long and now it's gone lol. They still got an 18yr but I'm pretty sure it's 40%. A lot of good picks here and took some notes for future rum and world whisky purchases

No neutral grain in Canadian Whisky. The CC Rye is actually Alberta Premium, both owned by Beam/Suntory .

@@LiquorHound Not "anything". Any flavoring spirit must be aged at least 2 years in wood. i.e. Rum, Port, Rye, Tequila, etc. No orange juice or Maple syrup 🙂

I enjoyed your vodka review unfortunately I can't find very many of them, like Kruto or Lake Superior, in Pennsylvania. Boyd and Blair is good, but I've had at least one bottle that had a bit of an ethanol kick to it. I like the vodkas that have that vanilla, caramel aroma to them. Just not sure what vodkas like that are available in Pennsylvania.

Back when I was starting out (30 years ago) there wasn’t anyone there to help me. So my channel’s goal is to help others put their hard earned money into well crafted spirits. Cheers! 🥃
