Another lover of White Nights. I have 36 hand picked colours, hopefully I have no troublesome ones. They suit my painting style quite well and the best bit about them is I don't feel precious or inhibited about using them because they are so affordable. I hear they are issuing some pastel colours and some metallics in September, I am likely to get the former as I have discovered that I do not have any objections to using paint that contains white, when used with care it is just another way to get the results you want. I guess I am not a purist, and that comes from seeing there are exciting possibilities with watercolour now it is really losing a kind of odd reputation of being too difficult to learn.

I actually like the color blue, it's always pleasant to the eye, but if you look at my palette, sap green is almost down to nothing. I'm new to watercolor and maybe it's teaching me that I live in a green world lol Thanks for your vids, I'm leaning a lot from them

Haha, green is sometimes a paint that runs out fast, depending on what your favorite scenes to paint are 😉 I tend to mix my own, so I run out of blue and yellow fast

I totally love that colour and I live in Britain so for us here, it's quite cheap. The set I have is there smallest and yet the colours of the paints are fantastic. Clean, bright, transparent colours, and the neutrals you can make with the set are really beautiful. I love using it!

so glad ur getting into white nights, i love painting with them & love the price too. i order from a russian seller on ebay that charges 4.30 usd per tube & 1.99 usd per full pan. love the bright blue, well there aren't many of their paints i don't like & it's just my tastes not their quality.

It's a very nice shade of blue! I'm not normally a phthalo blue person myself, I find it a bit artificial looking. As you said it looks a bit more cerulean in tone than a "true" phthalo.

Blue is what I use when I'm thinking about the feelings that I hide... Somehow most paintings come out blue :)

White Nights are the bomb! I have a 36 full pan set that cost less than 10 tubes (2 5 color sets) of M Graham. Of course you get more paint buying a tube, and I love my M Graham watercolors, but the White Nights are REALLY GREAT paints!

Hi I live Sweden, I bought a 36 pan of white nights and also got a free kolyinski brush with the purchase (the only real fur brush i have, I use synthetic) it has a very good mixing pallet space with an extra pallet that one can use separately I am very pleased with the variety of colours and I am considering purchasing their new metallic range for no reason except I want them 🙂 thank you for a great review, so glad I found your channel.

Indeed! In Czech Republic, that's where me and Václav (probably? :D) are from, these are for about 1/3 of the price you mentioned in the video (if bought in set of 24- I haven't seen them sold separately, which is a shame)

Nice colour, I love the White Nights paints too, they r cheap even shipping them to Australia. I've heard people say the tube paint is different than the pans, did you think so ? I only have pans and I love they r full pans but still way cheaper than other half pans 😊

if you are looking for even more cerulean type of Pthalo blue, you'll need to get Manganese Blue hue.. the blue in my avatar is Manganese Blue hue...

I use the St Petersburg Masterclass oil paints as well, very good value, very good paint but as the man says look at the pigments with SP because a few are not very lightfast, but the others are excellent.

I really liked the mixing. I am not fluent in the names yet. I have to keep listening and connecting the colors. If there are any connections to help me remember the names, I am all for it. In any case, I like seeing all the mixes.

It seems to me that white nights bright blue is phthlo blue gs and white nights azure is phthalo blue rs.

Аааа, не так поняла. Ну это 24 шекеля, (около 450 руб) тут стоимость краски, доставка, наценка магазина. В сравнении с другими проф. брендами все еще дешево, например, шминке у нас в России стоит 450, но туба меньше в два раза.
