I would use fabric three as an inside border and fabric 2 as an outside border if there is enough fabric. That way fabric 2 isn’t up against fabric 2 in the blocks. Your version of this quilt pattern turned out beautiful.

I like the borders. Fabric 3 was just too busy. Also remember that Ash Wednesday, the first day of lent, falls on Valentine's Day this year. So giving up chocolate is out. Unless you aren't getting any chocolate candy this Valentine's Day.

I live about 30 miles north of Charlotte, NC and these two friends are Southern (well, one is from Texas so I guess that counts! And the other from Louisiana!)!!! Although I have been around quilts since the hand piecing days and now use a machine. I sometimes forget tools that I have purchased! Today yiu reminded me of those Clearly Perfect HST ones that I have every size of - just forget to use them😉😉🥴🥴😳😳. Oh, and I love seeing your fur babies in the background!!!😻😻😻

If you're going to do a lot of chain sewing a wee cutter that uses old rotary blades to separate the blocks might be handier than scissors for you. Love the new April!!!, 🤗
