Thank you for the thorough first impression! I think a major selling point of the mist is that it's alcohol and fragrance free, which many mists are not. It's also formulated without a lot of ingredients like PEGs, mineral oil, silicones, phthalates, etc that many people try to avoid (though not me personally).

This is true! If i were to review it on its formulation and how "clean" it is, it is more unique of its kind. If it was out of this world, i would have definitely said so. My issue is that it generally does very little for me. It's hudrating the skin. I am unsure if my makeup actually last longer. With or without it my skincare routine seems complete. With that said, if you press down longer, you can get a beautiful spritz out of this. Tip from another subscriber who happen to stumble upon this. Anyway i wanma do a 30 day check in. I am including everything i learned, everything i did wrong and whatever subscribers have taught me as well.

Thanks for the review, really helpful! I wish someone had shared with me earlier bc I always struggled with nose blackheads - a powder enzyme cleanser every other day does the trick. My current favorite is the PETITFEE Beta Glucan Enzyme Powder Wash (Amazon) but I’ve also tried the Dr Barbara Sturm version. You only need a little bit of the powder mixed with water so the bottle will last forever. It foams up but is really gentle and doesn’t strip my face at all. Honestly, it’s pretty amazing and if I need a bit of extra help, I use it in the shower when I get in and do all my shower routine and then rinse. ✨

I got the Cleanser bundle yesterday. I still don’t know how I feel about it. I don’t hate it, but don’t love it either. Maybe it will grow on me 😂 I enjoyed your insights. The thought of washing the clothes with my laundry disturbs me. Plus wouldn’t they hold on to laundry detergent which would ultimately wind up on your face. I intend to hand wash mine using a drug store gel face cleanser. I think the clothes are super nice ❤

I am am washing mine with my sons baby wash, hahaha.. I debated hand washing mine as well. I hand washed my sonia G towel as well and ok to put a little elbow grease in. I think i do wanna test out how well these wash. I wanma do a check-in at 30 days, and i can report on all my findings there. I will include any subscriber tips or info as well!

So excited to watch this! I’m also a skincare junkie & a bit of a geek, I really love trying products and researching them, especially because I also have super sensitive reactive skin and rosacea so I do have to be very cautious about what I use. Being also a huge LE fan this launch is very tempting, particularly because I love how she’s truly someone who is very mindful and transparent when it comes to her products and formulation process. I feel like maybe some brands I already use and trust might be better, but I do want to try out the cleanser because I love hydrating/soothing cleansers and this one definitely seems to be like that and the ingredients sound really nice. I edited away a lot of footage from this video because it became soooo long. I didn't want to include too much unnecessary information, but i agree that Lisa sounds knowledgeable and really has a goal in mind for her skincare range. She seems hyper aware that her name and reputation are very much on the line if her products fail. I think the ingredient list of the cleanser is both simple and sophisticated. It's simple enough for me to have a basic understanding of each ingredient but complex enough to create a unique product. My skin feels soft and non sticky after i use this. Glowy but not dewy, and i had no breakouts. Very interesting launch. The mist is great, quick drying, and simple in use. It gives me glowy skin, but i need something a bit stronger to set my makeup. Since both are pricey, i wanted to be honest about it. It's a good mist, but so are a lot of others. Even if you are temper, the skincare will be permanent, and you can always circle back to it if the itch keeps on itching. I really wanted to review it so i tend to buy these items when they launch. Without a channel i would be much more relaxed with my purchases

@@sonia.butler Thank you so much for your thoughtful reply, this is really very helpful and very true, sometimes when things launch we kind of get that immediate impulse of getting things right away but sometimes it's best to kind of take a step back and not purchase for the sake of just purchasing something that as you say many times is something that will be there for quite a long time, and also with all the different brands and options we currently have, there are things that might also end up being a better choice. That being said, I appreciate so much that you make these purchases so quickly to review for us because it's always so helpful to watch your videos, so thank you!

Your skin is glowing! The texture of that cleanser seems lovely. I agree that mists are a bit of a "nice to have" product and there's a lot of competition on the market. The packaging reminds me a lot of Violette Fr's Boum Boum Milk. The cloths seem very luxurious as well. I'm a huge sucker for a pillowy cleansing cloth! You are right! It does remind me of boum boum milk. I would still love tp try it. Its a nice cleanser! I had nothing negative to say and the ingredient list seems simple enough for me to understand each ingredient and stand behind. No rush if you ever decide to try it. I wanted my review to be out sooner than later but will continue using it.

@Mangamusicfangirl noted! The boum boum milk has been on my wish list for a long time. I don't want to introduce new products until i am comfortable with these two products. If i test too many products at once i might not know the origin of any causes, irritations or improvements. But for sure Boum Boum will make an appearance. Ill look into the other product you mentioned as well!

I usually double cleanse and I’m currently using the Chanel oil as my first step so I’m almost sold on the cleanser. Do you feel it is too moisturizing? I double cleanse mainly because I have combo skin and I don’t want to leave any oily residue on my skin. But the Chanel oil has fragrance and the LE doesn’t so I think I will be trying it. The mist seems really nice but since I don’t use setting sprays and summer is approaching I don’t think I would use it tbh. She is a great salesperson I almost bought everything on launch day but then I realized I didn’t need to rush. Trying to be more thoughtful and it’s been working with my low buy. Hi! I am so happy you enjoyed this video. I would love to do more skincare reviews. As for the cleanser, although it looks thick, it doenst leave an oily residue. My skin feels soft and non sticky after rinsing it off. It also doenst feel lkke its stripping my oils. I am combo oily leaning and use makeup everyday so i dont enjoy products that are too dewy. The cleanser washes off completely and doenst feel like an oil. Its.made to be plumping and its interesting to combine a double cleanse.into 1 product. Its against what i know about skincare. I use K beauty balm and oil cleansers to do my first cleanse but this performed similarly. The bundle with the cloth i actually enjoy a lot. The mist ...meh...

Hi Sonia great review🙌 i absolutely loved LE skincare. I just received today.. i loved the cleanser. Love that it can be used with skin roller, to massage the face. I washed , then used mist and then i put my nightly retinA and the skin is still so soft. Its all so hydrating. I dont even need to use moisturiser. The cleanser reminds me little bit of Valmont bee line masque Majestique , which is amazing but super expensive. I agree that cleanser is really unique, but i do like mist as well. It gives crazy glow. Its very quick drying. So great to use as setting spray. Prices to me , well i used to pricy skincare . Its not as bad as Biologique recherche or MBR or Valmont. I actually thinking of purchasing some back up, just because , this skincare so new, who knows how much they have in stock. Look what happened to her eyeshadows. I missed it, and now still waiting for Sorcery to be restocked🤔🤪 Have a blessed day🙏💗

Thank you so much! It is true! Sometimes it takes a long time for items to get restocked. I think thats the downside of owning your own formulas and needing unique raw materials. She did mention in her comment section that people do not have to stress about selling out and buying immediately. Since i am quite an avid skincare user each product takes about 3 to 4 months for me to pan. if i have a 5 step skincare routine and lets roughly calculate that i renew my skincare every 3 months. If my products were €50 each. Oh dearie i am looking at a €1000 at the end of the line on an annual basis. I love myself some luxury skincare, but I dont want people to create a skincare routine that is unsustainable. I wanna look out for their wallets. But luckily the prices are not lamer style or valmont indeed! Although i am very eager to once day try Augustinus bader. My heart just doenst agree with the price tag.

Hi Sonia! Thanks for the review! Have you tried using the cleanser without the cloth? As in just rinsing the product with water only? Some people have stated that it leaves a sort of film on the skin, which I would find unpleasant in a cleanser as I myself just rinse with water and don't use face clothes. I'm debating getting the LE cleanser or the new dermalogica oil to foam cleanser as they seem to perform the same way (2 in 1 cleanser).

I have mainly used it without a cloth and i don’t have experiences of it leaving a film. I often use it in the shower so it’s a long wash OR I use it for oil cleansing to take off my heavy makeup. After I always have a BHA toner as a toner exfoliating step. I am black head prone. So it might take the film residue off for me. I think what they’re referring to is a mask like moisturizing feel. A little slippy. It’s not a tugging feeling like most foam cleansers can give me. I imagine people with dry skin will actually love it. But I also imagine the oil prone ones to hate it. This is only speculation from my part. I actually put this cleanser as a 2023 favorite runner up skincare product. An honorable mention. I don’t know if I would repurchase but I have really enjoyed using it. It’s also nice as a lip mask. The smell is not for me but not a deal breaker coz the smell doesn’t linger on me. It’s not cheap so understand your conflict. Depending on your skin type and the rest of your routine I think it’s good to consider if this cleanser fits into it. It’s thick like honey and after rinsing it feels like you are wearing a moisturizer sort of. If this sounds terrible than I would try the oil to foam❤️

Thank you for such a quick review of these products! I'm very interested in the cleanser, but I really don't like using clothes. I live in a very humid place, so the idea of having a wet cloth drying in the bathroom is like a perfect place for molds and mildew to grow. Could you please tell me if the cleanser works as well if I just rinse it out with water without using the cloth? Thank you!

100% yes hahaha the cloths are currently in the wash and I still use the cleanser without them. I am using the cleanser as a mask as we speak! I wanted to review the cloths as well for this video but I don’t use them on a day to day basis. I don’t wear this much makeup every day either. For the demo it’s nice to show how well this takes up even tough makeup. I like the cloths for light exfoliation when taking off a full face but they are not necessary! The cleanser still does the job well! It breaks down the makeup and rinses off like any other cleanser. I am still very positive about the cleanser and today I actually see a physical difference in my skin. It’s more smooth. Sorry ahaha not trying to push sell you on this but I am just excited 🤤Thank you for reaching out and commenting. Means a lot

Hey, the stuff that's left on the cotton pad is not necessarily make-up residue, it's actually the skin cells that make up the top layer of your skin. That's because BHA is an acid that is dissolving/ weakening the top layer of your skin so no matter how much you clean your face, your cotton pad will always look "dirty" if you use any chemical exfoliant.

Hi Aditi Gupta! You are 100% right. Even on no make-up days, i will have a residue using this exfoliant. I will mention this for full disclosure in my final check-in. Thank you ❤️ Usually, what is left behind is more grey in color?whereas now, it looks a little bit foundation skin like in color. This is why i mentioned this as makeup residue in the video. I wanted to make sure everyone had an honest look at the routine and the steps. The products are pricey. I didnt want to give an incorrect view of the product? So far so good btw on both. I cant wait to do my final check in❤️
