She's so connected to the songs and the lyrics she sings. Literally in that space and moment, and you can hear it in her voice. She's so compelling, and has such a beautiful voice. There's a video here on YT of her singing at a concert, and she starts crying towards the end of the song. She still finishes it beautifully, but collapses in tears on stage. This woman deserves all the hugs in the world. Just like you say, some artists put the emotion into their songs, but LiSA lives them.

Thank you for covering Homura. She is one in millions. I left Japan in the nineties to move to TN and now rediscovering Japanese music. So happy that the country now is a treasure trove of incredible artists.

LiSA is an angel. For me, one of the best Japanese singers out there. As you say, pure emotion. Hey Bobb, great reaction. Lisa is truly amazing in this performance. It's completely different from the original anime version. She has a few more songs in "The First Take (TFT)" channel. The First Take is a fantastic channel where you find bands or artists that you may not know. Most are good enough to walk in and lay down the track in the first take. There are many flowers on the channel, but of course there are some weeds too (largely based on your perspective and tastes). If you get subscribers recommending any artist on TFT, then you would be wise to look at it. There are different genres and artists on there and I have found so many good bands from there. Not just the performances on TFT, but by digging into them a little bit. Anyway Bobb, this was a great reaction. Keep the good shit coming.

If you see - LiSA x Uru Saikai, you will find LiSA's cheerful and bright side in collaboration with another excellent female singer, Uru. You can find it in the same channel "The First Take". ★ FYI. LiSA and your favorite BABYMETAL have been good friends for years and you can find at least two photos in the net. One was taken in December 2020 with Su and Moa, the other was probably in 2013 with Su, Moa and Yui. LiSA doing fox sign in both photos😄 .

I liked her voice, but I didn't feel it was strong enough to just have a piano accompany the song, plus the length of the song. So really not bad, but I feel there are better vocals that could have done this song. Then again, she did carry it through, so kudos on that end!

It's a sad song about death and dealing with the grief. Don't think you need some extremely powerful voice to do a song like that, doesn't really fit, and even at that she put absolutely all her emotion into the song. Plus this is just a first take studio version, and the full version has more than just a piano anyway
