Yeah, but she does it in a way that is mocking what YOU must think of her-- that way it gives you a chance to say "oh no, not at all-- I think you're great" ---- but if you don't do that, and just let her cut herself down like that-- and you don't disagree with her, she gets a little offended by her own self deprecation. lol.. She puts it out there like a high five for you to knock down, but if you leave her hanging, she doesn't like it. bwhahah... she's funny to watch though.

Finally saw The Comeback during quarantine and it really was good. It is kind of a hard watch at times the way she keeps getting humiliated. I think she's right about the victim thing...it hits a bit differently when it's a woman (mom refused to watch it past the first episode). But it does raise the stakes and makes it that much more inspiring when she just keeps doing her thing trying to give the best performance possible. Weird, weird show but great in it's own way. Love Lisa. HBO has the most interesting shows.

Lisa seems so uninterested in this whole thing. She answers everything either with just a "ya.." or with a tone of voice that's just like "why am I here"?

This is the second guest in a row where Bill blabs most of the time and the guest nods along and says yeah yeah in agreement

She was like a mannequin for the first 3/4 of the show. I’m not understanding why people are saying she was such a great guest. I do love her work, though, and she is quite intelligent. I could listen to Bill around the clock.

@@a2pet Well, he’s stoned and drunk. I’m kind of amazed he can still speak coherently. I have seen her on other talk shows were she was animated and funny. This was like someone on her team booked her without permission - and she was still angry.

lisa > fake laughs, disconnected, disengaged, drags on at the end cus guilty for not putting in the effort, couldn't relate, nothing to add to the conversation, puppets need a script can't wing it, would've been better if she just put on her phoebe skin and played along. she was so happy to leave. Props to Bill for carrying this mannequin, a solo ep would seriously be more entertaining, waste of cloves man. and I have seen friends many times over, love that show, I can't believe how much of a dud lisa is compared to that lovely character.

Lol, you thought her character was real?people can’t be on all the time, and I have a huge feeling you’re extremely uninteresting, yet lack the self awareness to know that. Bill did not ask her anything, genius.

100 percent agree! I want my time back watching this episode. I kept hoping it would improve and it never did. All the comments saying how smart she is - if so, she definitely can't verbalize it. She wasn't there - faking it.

Canadian hospitals, which aren't for profit, have had a much tougher time dealing with an influx of patients during covid than American ones. Same for many European countries which had to resort to heavy rationing.
