If this a Lisa episode then she’ll try to sabotage you, then she’ll feel guilty, and then do the right thing. I don’t hate her for that because she just behaving just like most humans, at least she will do the right thing most people won’t. That plus even at Lisa at her worse, she still treats Meg than any of them Griffins. You see the Griffins scumbag nature has layers that the more you think about it the more repulsive they are. Brian, for example, literally praise a girl who has a skewed warp mindset (due to her abuse) that she is brave for being this lightning rod who takes her family abuse, even though he admitted while he was drunk that Meg didn’t deserve this treatment. He knew that if Meg withdrawal from these people, their fucked up family would crash, and there would not be any benefits for himself. That’s lowdown, but that’s a Griffin for you. Comparing Lisa to these demons is blasphemous, because Lisa is childish, which she is a child.

Lisa’s problem is that she doesn’t want anyone upstage her in a field that she considers her’s. I remember in that Bart being good at playing the drums episode, Lisa was throwing a light tantrum over the jazz dudes wanting to jam and eventually asking him to join their band. This girl had the nerves to start bawling and acted like Bart was taking her lifelong dream, which that’s total bullshit. Her dreams always gravitate towards her being in politics, and playing the saxophone and being into jazz is a hobby of hers not a lifelong career choice. Bart needed to be good at something besides being troublemaking punk. Bart also needs to be around other adult males besides his hypocritical father who promotes and teaches Bart his terroristic ways yet strangles Bart for applying what he has taught him. But Lisa doesn’t see it this way, and failed to see the bigger picture. Same thing with Meg (or this episode version of Meg). Meg supposedly isn’t good at anything (bullshit!), and her family are bunch of wild animals who can’t contain their disdain for Meg even in the company of strangers. The girl had failed at everything except the saxophone, and Lisa once again getting butthurt over a downtrodden character excelling on the hobby she enjoys. Fortunately Lisa finally gained some sense, and realized that Meg needed it more due to the animals she lives with, but Lisa will retain side of her. I will give Lisa the benefit of the doubt and say that a lot of her behavior is coddled by her parents rather than giving her the cold shoulder and let her figure out that she’s not as important than she think she is. Instead of giving her a pet for her idiotic bawling over the jazz band recruiting him, Marge should of let Lisa sulk and figure out how to get over herself. But nope she just had to respond and coddle her, enabling her terrible mindset.
