How about peppermint oil diluted in a water bottle use for outside bugs and for outdoor furniture for those tiny little bugs is that save?

It should be diluted but double check with your vet. I personally use this off of Amazon, and it works pretty well! At least for the patio furniture, we had an Apple flea beetle infestation and when I sprayed it on one chair, they all stopped landing on it. amzn.to/44gDg3N

Years ago I completed a holistic certification for pets through Clayton College of Natural Health. And it included essential oils! I was so passionate about essential oils for pets that I created a little business at the time. I currently make my own doggy ear wash, shampoo, tick and flea sprays and treatments etc, it’s so fun!

So you don’t want to diffuse peppermint. But one drop of peppermint on the collar is much better than using traditional flea medicine. Loved your video. I’m a certified aromatherapist. I like how you said to diffuse oils, but you cannot diffuse them in water. Oil and water don’t mix. The oil will sit on top of the water. Heavily diluted really should be no more than 1% dilution which is 1 drop for 20ml of carrier oil. I love Do Terra and Absolute Aromas. Great information!

Sacred Vitality thanks for sharing! Do you mean you can’t put water with oil on skin? Because my diffuser says you can use water only. I’ve also used water and oil in a Spray bottle as an air freshener. But I shake it prior!

@@LisaGallegos in diffusers, yes! always water. You discussed dilution and carrier oils so I was speaking to when using with carrier oils. It was a bit unclear there in the vid. Always water in diffusers and for dogs 1 % dilution with a carrier oil especially if applied topically. Sorry, if I was unclear too, lol. Dogs love a good massage too! Especially if they have anxiety or aren't feeling well. But know your dog. Diffusers are the best and more than adequate. Topical for pets is not for all dogs. Hope this helps. Again, great job.

If you're talking about diffusing essential oils, then these are considered safe : Lavender, Ginger, Rosemary, Frankincense, Chammomile, Myrrah and Bergamot. But just like in the video, do keep the room door open, just incase your pet doesn't want to be around.
