Great Video! I obviously used a different Knowledge source, but when I test my agent, nothing comes up on the Activity map, and also not automatically sending out an email when I added that as an action. Edit: I redid from scratch and made sure to TEST along the way. Now it is working! This is awesome!

This is a great video. Many thanks Lisa. I have already done that and it is working well. You can add the text HTML to the line in the instruction section to send the HTML formatted email just by adding the text "write an HTML email" to the line in the Instruction section instead of just "email". Ex: Use the action Send an Email to write an HTML email response

How about reducing powerautomate trigger polling interval? I think it's 3 minutes by default :-) Nice videos by the way, I love how clearly you explain these things

When it worked it was well under 3 minutes (it’s usually just that first test that can take a while). I haven’t tried the scheduled trigger yet.

Hi Lisa, thank you for such a fantastic video which explains autonomous agents in a very easy to understand way. Regarding the formatting of automated email responses. I was wondering if you could add another document in your knowledge sources, say called "formatting a customer email", with the rules of how you want them to look; e.g. always have a blank line after the initial greeting in the body" etc. etc. and then in the instructions for the agent, mandate that it refers to this knowledge when writing the email. I would be interested to know if this works.

Very nice video Lisa. You natural flow, excitement of trying new things and un cut video given the realtime experience of working with you. As usual, watched this video non stop and tried hands on simultaneously. 😀 Is there any way where we can make copilot to apply the AI to get the email subject as well so there if there is a word "Return" or similar meaning then it can understand the purpose of the email?

This awesome video. If i want to try what you did, is possible to put a policy document in a gitrepo. Sometimes doing exactly what you are demoing would really help.

Thank you very much for this, Amy! I like your engaging presentation style and look forward to future tutorials! You requested ideas for future tutorials - I would love to see one on Finance processes like paying bills and managing accounts receivable (monitoring customer payments and sending chaser emails). Or on an admin assistant, who organises meetings, workshops and events. I will stay tuned!

Hey Lisa, thanks for the demo, it's always a pleasure to watch! One thing I found helpful when it comes to formatting, is to instruct the bot to use HTML to structure the email, works like a charm :)

Thanks Lisa for the great video you presented! I am building an upcoming holiday helper that will tell any upcoming holidays or list of holidays in the past? Unfortunately, it is failing miserably to calculate logic. Do you think something like this can be done by the agent?

This is amazing, cant wait to play with it! Looking forward to learning more about the voice capability within Copilot studio too My understanding here is that only the builder of the agent needs a Copilot license, amd then other external or internal users can interface with the bot without a license, is that right? Thanks!!

Another Excellent video! Always inspiring. Great to see the 'Human" element of the error and its correction. Often with How To videos you see the process, but not what to do if there is an error, it is encouraging to have the confidence, by example of to make corrections.

Wow ready great video! Love your work 😊 one question around having to use the email subject line as a trigger. Can you not have to do this? As I can see that the subject line will be different for all different customers , also noting the inbox wouldn’t only be handling return requests. Thanks
@LisaCrosbie
@LisaCrosbie 2 сағат бұрын
You don’t have to put in the subject line, I did that this time to show a scenario that was as simple as I could make it to focus on the building blocks and concepts. I am working on more, including how well it can determine the intent of an email without the subject line keywords

Hi Lisa, thank you for another great video. How much would setting up a proces like this cost? Does Microsoft charge per incoming email, or is there a flat fee for the Agent. Or both?

Thanks Lisa for this, I followed your video all the way through. I wanted to ask if you could do a tutorial where one can chain multiple agents together? I am trying to create a master agent that calls other more specialised agents for different tasks? Is this possible?

Okay, a REALLY basic question! sorry if I have missed other videos :) For Copilot studio I am guessing a company would need at least a Copilot license? i.e. not part of the existing Microsoft 365 license? It might have changed, but wasn't it something like $200.00 per month? I seem to recall you might have mentioned a pay-as-you-go plan? Do you have any of the basic costs for getting started? I work with quite a few smaller companies (some medium) and this is a really excellent way forward but might be outside of the budgets for some. But thank you as always for the great detailed videos!
@LisaCrosbie
@LisaCrosbie Күн бұрын
If you have Microsoft 365 Copilot that includes using Copilot Studio to extend Microsoft 365 Copilot without needing another license. However if you want to build standalone or external facing agents like this you do need the Copilot Studio license (you can buy this separately without needing the M365 Copilot). It’s not cheap so you do need to find the high value use cases to make it worth it. (I think I need a while video just on this!)

It was a great video and introduction. For the next videos please go deeper with the advanced options like Sharepoint permissions to use it as the knowledge based for internal and external user. I am wondering why you limited the subject to a specific wording? Couldn't you use the instruction and have AI detects the subjects related to return? or even if the subject was not clear, use the body of the email to detect the request? Also, your email is in your website an it's easy to guess LOL
@LisaCrosbie
@LisaCrosbie 2 сағат бұрын
I’m working on content using the SharePoint connector although that will only ever work for internal authentication. I limited the subject to a specific wording because I wanted to keep this beginner tutorial as basic as possible, really focus on the concepts and building blocks, but you don’t have to restrict by subject line and I’m going to do more sophisticated things next. I know my email address is public and everywhere but I have had KZbin take down previous videos because their AI detects a real email on the screen so I’m not risking that again!

Is it possible to change the display name to something different when sending emails instead of displaying the person's email name who created the AI Agent ? . I tried but could not find any solution yet.

I haven’t tried it yet with a different inbox but it should be able to send it out from the email name and address you choose. There will be a way to change that in the action. I’m still working through it all, thanks for the question.

How do you make a trigger that can identify that it concerns a returns request without the customer having to use a specific subject? In real life I can imagine that not everyone uses the same subject title.

You need to sign up with a Microsoft “work” account which means you need a Microsoft 365 business license. If you don’t have one you can sign up for a M365 trial and use that email address here.

It's pretty funny how this is big news in Microsoft town. It's been doable for a loooooong time with tools like Zapier, n8n etc. The clunkyness of both Copilot and Power Automate is infuriating to work with. But a las we have to...
