i think it's amazing you reveal what your skin really looks like before applying makeup- you have redness and the occasional spots (like me) its brilliant to see how perfectly you conceal it- revealing that it's possible for even ppl with problem skin to create a flawless look. @abciao You right, the level of actives is small and it wont penetrate the skin but it will have some effect on the surface with continual use. I know the clinique foundation that contains salicylic acid definitely had an effect on my skin this past summer. x

@MackenzieSala have you ever tried Chanel Vita Lumiere...I've used that in my kit for a long time for shoots and red carpet events... I dont know if they will have the right shade for you maybe take a look x

@anastasiatlee it does get drier as soon as you start using it regularly but it should still work as well. Do you have a good concealing brush for applying it?...that definitely helps to soften and smooth it x

@Louisesoilleux I would do something not overly colourful so the dress takes the centre stage. Like a deep purple or plum eye liner (depending on how red or blue your purple dress is) with some mink shading and greyish/silvery glitter. Tons of black feathery lashes (fake if you can), a plummy pink blush and a natural looking lipstick or gloss, so your lips look pouty. x

Hi Lisa! I was at a NYE party this past week (obviously) and I just wanted you to know that I used your technique for making dramatic lips last like in your Dita Von Teese inspired matte red lip vid. It honestly is the best technique! My lipstick didn't budge the entire night, even after eating and drinking. I even got asked how I got my lipstick to stay on! You're awesome. @XjennydontbehastyX you need two layers of top coat with this polish otherwise the glitter makes it dull. The first top coat sort of sinks in and then the second makes it shine beautifully x

@dollizzy light reflective ones are usually thinner in texture so good for that area as they bounce light off the shadows without emphasising fine lines etc. I explain more about non reflective in my concealer video...have a look it might be helpful for you. Thanks for your comment x

@PinkRambles the 217 is fatter and bushier so slightly better for blending. I really like some of the newer foundations and will try to include them and my thoughts x

@tinnahelga thats what I do (my problem is the other way round). If you use a liner buff it in as you go so the end result isnt harsh (check out my matte red lips tutorial from a while back to see what I mean) x

That is actually pretty gorgeous, I personally use more black around the eyes, kinda smokey, and I like the lips without the gloss and more red, that's kinda orange. Also I never use foundation because I actually am no good at it and my skin is quite white during winter and my eyebrows are prety dark brown so I don't really need to make them stronger, but I do think you are a genius and I really admire your make-up and calm hands, when i do something touchy like eye liner my hands start shaking.

Hi Lisa! I just wanted to thank you for this look! I happened to have the pure pigment in Ore (I absolutely LOVED the color when I saw it a couple months ago!) and was packing for a Christmas Vacation. This look really did come in handy - and it was very quick, understated and chic when I wore it Christmas day for a Family gathering. The pigment did drop down a bit though - maybe I should have used a better eyeshadow before applying. Thank you so much for your videos!

I have a question for you: I'm 13 and I wear some eyeliner and mascara to school every day. But I was wondering when you think would be a good time to start wearing foundation.
