Thank you, Lisa for having a lovely lady over, who suffers from Rosacea like I do. Thank you for being inclusive and not only having the models with perfect skin. My Rosacea has gone down as I have become older, but it has left me with large pores and uneven skintone. Lisa, you are so lovely, I have been watching you ever since you started your makeup channel and the fantastic talent and work you do. Thank you so much for your beauty and your kindness! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I have started using Cerave resurfacing serum with a little retinol (approaching 40yo) and it has REALLY improved my pores (along with texture and almost erased wrinkles). Nuria I’m not a dermatologist but… can the ‘thicker’/ dermatitis response be due to skin flora (an overgrowth of skin mites in response to the rosacea??). A friend noticed an improvement after she used a eucalyptus/ menthol product under the nose during a cold. She got it on the side of her nose and found the dermatitis settled. So now that’s what she does if there’s a flare up. As I say I’m not a doctor but you might want to try her trick too?

@@arwen_2.0 I am not a dermatologist either but I can only speak from my own experience. I have mild Rosecea and mild redness on my cheeks and what has worked for me is Accutane prescribed by dermatologist off label. I did that back in 2005. I have managed my Rosecea with laser treatment and Prescription only Vitamin A and Adepeline, (Differin cream). To cleanse I use Cetaphil , QV cream and that is it. I don’t use sunscreen, can't find one that doesn't irrirate. See a dermatologist and have it treated so it doesn't progress. I have kept my Rosecea in check by doing those things and it has not progressed. In Australia dermatologist prescribe Soolantra cream check that out as well. Good luck. Take care 🙂 💕

Rosecea is so misunderstood. Looking back my teenage acne was actually rosecae pustules, my blotchy dry skin in my early 20's wasn't because I worked outside in the sun and wind it was my rosecea begging to be calmed. Hi Lisa what a pretty woman Emma is with or without makeup and her skin looked quite calm that day. I have rosacea and eczema, plus extremely dry menopausal skin. Fortunately i've always been a bit obsessed with skincare and loved makeup, so I learned how to manage my skin myself. Here in the UK access to Dermatologists is restricted on the NHS to severe issues and privately it is very expensive to see one. My GP knew basically nothing about rosacea, but when given the research behind the use of prescription azelaic acid did prescribe it for me on an ongoing basis. Spf is probably THE most difficult thing to find for each of us with rosacea and it is very much trial and error finding something that our skin will tolerate. I myself cannot use the LRP sunscreens, but instead find ultrasun works very well for me (it's a hybrid spf). On days where the rosacea is very flared up mineral spf works better (as it's more calming to the skin) and in those instances either the Avene mineral spf50 or the paula's choice calm spf30 are good options. I find a green corrector to be invaluable for makeup, just to tone down the really red areas (a thin layer is enough) under my foundation. Makeup avoids people asking "are you ok?", or "you look really warm/flushed" or "don't be embarrassed". It's not a mask, but it can disguise some of the very red areas and my redness is more prominent than Emma's is (plus it's hairline to chest and not just my cheeks). I think it's a lovely thing to have subscribers with different skin issues as models and very much enjoyed this video. Best wishes.

Thank you, Lisa, for having Emma on this video. She's so very sweet and I love and appreciate her honesty. I too am a rosacea sufferer, and I sometimes get so discouraged trying to find products that work for my skin. (I have an extremely oily T zone, dry cheeks, ect) So many products I've tried, cheap & expensive, just break up after 5 hours of wear, or they oxidize and turn orange (yay....) I digress. I just have a little more hope watching this video that maybe I'll find a product or technique that will work for me. I feel guilty saying this, but Emma's comment about how people don't notice her redness brought me back to the first time I had ever stepped into a dermatologist's office with zero makeup on and the very first thing out of her mouth after she introduced herself was "Is your face always this red?..." ouch. BTW, the answer is yes... I don't have flare-ups, as my face is always bright red. I look like I'm wearing a mask. Thank you, Lisa, for your encouragement and guidance, and Emma for your vulnerability. It takes a lot of courage to get on camera bare-faced. I've taken a lot of notes on this video!

I've got mild rosacea and super sensitive skin, I've slowly managed to introduce retinal and some gentle acids to my skincare routine, but the real winners when it comes to my rosacea are niacinamide and azealic acid. Sadly I got sensitive to the azealic acid, but loved it and saw great results the first three or so years I used it. Model is looking gorgeous and this was such a lovely video. What a dream to have Lisa doing your makeup!

yep, azelaic acid is the game changer, only started to use 10% serum on a daily basis and I love the result, why nobody said it to me before? I visited many doctors and got no properly working treatment

Lovely makeup on a witty and charming girl. It was amazing to see how quickly and naturally the foundation covered her redness.

I saw a video pop up and saved it for later. When I was ready to enjoy some Lisa-magic, I saw the title and GASPED. So amazing that you've invited Emma over to do a look on her AND to ask her about her experience and expertise. So inspired, I was beaming throughout the entire video. ❤️ Thank you Lisa and Emma

I love Lisa so much, without her . my make up would look so clownish and messy. She’s beautiful inside and outside, love her personality and kindness.Emma it’s a natural beauty, and to be fair I didn’t even notice that she’s got Roscea, I thought she just put a blush on! And this foundation is amazing, looks like a second skin but better. and the final result is an absolute bomb!Lisa never disappoints❤

love it. have suffered with redness, sensitive skin and acne for years, finally it has gone over the last 2 years. I am so thankful. Light layers is always the best for long lasting makeup, not slapping loads on hoping it will magically help

This is the sort of glam makeup I love. Emma still looks like herself, just the most polished, "best" version of herself. Thanks to both of you lovely ladies!

Another rosacea sufferer here. Thank you so much, Lisa, for giving us some great tips on dealing with this condition through makeup without simply relying on color correctors! Emma is lovely!
