I have a few family members who deal with the same, and as someone who comes from a fully Portuguese family I think you should try to immerse yourself in any way you can! Look Of different types of food, desserts, even checking Google to see the place that your family is from could help. When I feel disconnected from where I’m from, I go on I look up pictures and articles and videos on KZbin to make me feel a bit more connected

not many Cuture Dance dance by the elderly!!! its so Bless to be elderly active person !!! in Madeira i still see 60 + elder women carry a bucket of potato on top of head n walk in the village!! their life atyle made them healthy n strong n long life... but their kids n grand children are mostly living overseas n only comes back once or twice a year...
