Hello, does this come pre-locked that needs to be released similar to Spring Supports?

Snubbers do not come locked. Snubbers come packaged very carefully to prevent any damage during transport. They can be installed very easily and are ready to function. If they happen to be locked due to a sudden "event" such as shifting during transport, they will unlock and be functional without any outside intervention.
