Perhaps the most incredible sound of any video you've posted here.

Is there a $20,000 record flattener available too Michael? 😉

Amazing sound considering it's a KZbin video! Michael you've out done yourself. In the words of Bart Simpson - ay carumba! P.S. Happy Hanukkah! I only hope I can still enjoy my Music Hall mmf 1.5 TT, Ortofon MK 1 Concorde cart, original U-Turn Pluto phono preamp, Wire World interconnects, Cardas ground cable, Hudson HiFi acrylic TT mat, Bren1 record weight and 3D printed turntable levelers. Grand total about $850 or so invested. Signed a humble vinyl enthusiast of 50+ years with a limited budget but no limit for my love of music and audio equipment regardless of the price! All the best for 2025! Thanks for everything you do in support of our passion!

Ridiculously good sound! What a great cartridge and record.

The sound is coming from the turntable, the cartridge, the tonearm, the amp, the preamp, the loudspeakers and God knows what expensive esoteric piece of equipment

He's probably recording direct from the TT's output and not from the speakers.

Best I've heard. I still remember being in a New York recording studio in around 1960 while they were mastering a big band tape. I was too young to identify the material but I never forgot the sound. It was surreal - like this.

Dartzeel sells a "One MILLION dollar" cartridge, so this puppy is an absolute bargain if not the bargain of the century!

To what endurance in hours is it rated? 8000? 100? 20? 40years?

I love everything about this video. First of all of course is the sound which is "to-die-for". I also dig the aesthetics of the massive OMA K3 platter as well. The only thing that I am seeing which is just a visual and in no way appears to affect the sound (I think) is the slightly warped LP that that massive (OMA?) record weight(?) doesn't seem to flatten perfectly to the platter or mat surface. To me this is a serious flaw and rather unacceptable for a turntable playback system costing 360k. I am sorry. And yes, we know we could rectify this flaw by using a third-party "reflex" type clamp such as ones made by SOTA, Basis or even the cheap JA Michell clamps. I know. But I definitely think that at this extreme asking price level the Oswalds Mill Audio (aka OMA) K3 turntable should come with such "active" reflex clamp system to help flatten LPs displaying this (or any) level of warpage. So please pardon my OCD kicking in. Other than this flaw - congrats! The sound is absolutely stunning and what a great video Mr. Fremer. Please keep'em coming! Respectfully, Oswaldo Martinez President Let There Be Sound, L.L.C.

Happy to see the record is nowhere near perfectly flat like most all of mine. 😊 I'm enjoying my The Wand Plus tonearm with Nordost wire having read your review 10 times.❤

I’ve just got my hands on an SME Model 10 table and a Lyra Skala cartridge from a local dealer that got it in on trade. Coming from a 40 year old Floating Sub Chassis Oracle and $500 Grado this is a game changer for my system. My love of turntables has kept this hobby alive for me. So many ways to improve things. Trying different load settings the past couple days, started at 500 ohms, then tried 100 ohms, now down to 50… I feel it’s getting warmer with a little more bottom end. So hard to know if I’m just thinking there’s a change.. at some point I’ll go up to 1000 ohms and see the effect. Such fun. 🤗🙏

Unfortunately, the YT idiots translated the text into incorrect German without me asking them to. I assume that it is about a cartridge and not a metal container.

It's been very good for you to get rid of that OMA turntable cause every disc you played looks warped due wrong washer, indentation on the mat or clamp. I'm sure Black Diamond cartridge is nice BTW.

Audio equipment, like any other, is subject to the law of diminishing returns. Is a cartridge costing $20,000 really a hundred times more accurate than one costing $200?

Yeah but is it as good as a DC cartridge? ok you gotta buy the preamp but even so that's still a lot cheaper than this cartridge and I would say is better. what about doing a playoff see if I'm right! I'm always right😉🫡 what I would like to know is what a DC culture was sound like on a dbx record and decoder I've not found anything out there about that nobody's tried that far as I know! should be a great combination. You would have to reattenuate the signal out from the DC preamp to work with the dbx, are you not a fan of the dbx system Michael?
