Wow ! When this popped up, my first thought was " my favourite Nazareth album" 🤘 Nazareth has lots of great song over the years, but Rampant is the album, of which I say "all killer, no filler". I saw Nazareth live in 1983 opening for Rush - kind of strange line up 😆

Scary .I was sorting my album collection out this morning and pulled this .And just had to play it .Took me back to when I was 13 years old with the worst hair cut in the world thinking I was the lead singer Great band Sadly he's no longer with us RIP William Daniel McCafferty

Hi Jim, I know only one song by Nazareth, Love hurts, and I can dream that song (dutch expression). Old school rock. Nothing wring with that. Would I buy it…probably not because I would seldomly listen to it. But to hear a few songs, on Spotify, once and awhile, I don’t mind.

Very enjoyable album. This typifies what I'd call hard rock as opposed to heavy metal but I've yet to hear a good explanation of the difference between the two (in fewer than 30 words) Any takers?

The evilness of the chords! There's no blues in metal. Drop D tuning. Intensity & aggression. And metal is harder than rock... try chipping an iron bar!

Good stuff! But my goodness it hasn't aged well! Definitely something of the 70s. Whitesnake song Jim? Free or Bad Company came to mind.
