I am obsessed with your channel. I discovered you a few weeks ago and haven't stopped watching. I dont eat pork or beef but still enjoy watching those recipe videos aswell. You speak so calmly, explain things so well, and get straight to the point. Hope you have your own TV cooking show one day. Unfortunately I am in the UK so not able to get your sauces, hoping one day you launch here.

Marion, I really like how you explain each step/move and why you do it! I just bought 3 lbs of chicken and couldn't really decide what to do with it, so this is my answer,- much appreciation for this recipe!

@@Marionskitchen I just finished making the chicken, and my kids say it is the best I have made so far! I made 1 spice/hot sauce, and 1 mild, and both were excellent! I steamed rice and did some veggies on the side, and it is wonderful, BIG THANKS!!
@angpra034 жыл бұрын
Yes double frying is THE best! Thank you for the recipe Marion 😊 My favorite flour/starch combo (for wings, popcorn chicken, tofu, etc) is a 1:1:1 ratio of rice flour, glutinous rice flour, and tapioca starch; it'll stay crispy and crunchy for hours after frying

This is literally the best chicken I have ever made and I’ve made a lot of chicken. That sauce is so good! I roasted some potatoes with salt and oil then tossed them in Szechuan pepper for the last few minutes then tossed them in some of the sauce and put it back in the oven to thicken up. Perfect side for the chicken

The Instant Pot or equivalent I use a Philips is my go to for the first Cook 10 minutes (Pressurized) "retains the moisture" ! (Opinion, not double blind Science) Then corn starch (dash of baking soda) and fry in hi temp oil just before it starts to smoke.
