This album is for the heads. Your ears seem focused on the "musical" aspect for better words. When both combine thats when the magic happens.

The song "it's ok" has some of the most insane lyrics and rhyme schemes. Starting at @5:30. Brilliant. Also shoutout to Eye-Q on 313 Also no disrespect but 11:54 you mentioned "its' kinda boring". Listen to the lyrics and the actual wordplay. His rhymes are put together with perfect and back in 1995 nobody else was doing that

I believe it was Slim Shady EP, released December 10, 1997, that caught Dre's attention. Maybe heard this, as well. Also, he does talk about God on some of his other records.

Ironically enough he talkes about the change from Infinite to SSLP in Death if Slim Shady. "As soon as i stopped giving a fuck i started to sell a bit" and also talks about how he made shady because his actual personality didnt sell well.

He's talked about that before over the years

Yeah, he has a more positive outlook in his early days. The album didn't do well so he blamed it on his clean sound, even the love song on this "Sesrching", which I like he never made another "love" song. Everything from Slim Shady on is dysfunctional relationships because that's what made him huge talking about eh darker side, sometimes I think it's a shame he didn't return to some of his positive outlook, I can do without the religious stuff though. Dre first heard on him the Slim Shady E. P though it wasn't this record.

Have you not listened to Till I Collapse, Cinderella man, Guts over fear, Believe, Sing for the moment, lose yourself, Not Afraid, Phenomenal, Kings never Die, and I could keep going on for awhile. Eminem always has positive and inspirational tracks sprinkled throughout his entire catalog.
