I've experienced it myself. I didn't really show much love to Long Live and I really slept on Last Kiss. But with learning the background of the song and with time comes also love. For example, I used to skip Begin Again whenever it started, it wasn't catchy for me. But girl! This song is everything. And now I sing it to myself pretending I can play a guitar or something. I still don't show enough love to State of Grace and Sad Beautiful Tragic but it will change. And I bet it will be the same in your case. As for my recommendations for you, I think you should listen to The Way I Loved You, If This Was A Movie, Enchanted, Begin Again, I Almost Do, London Boy (my personal favourite of Lover) and Death By A Thousand Cuts if you haven't already ❤️ love from Poland Waiting for part 3 like this 🙏

I'm glad you're enjoying hearing more of Taylor's music, but I really wish you would focus less on what in her life inspired the song and more on the story its telling and how it makes you feel. I think it's very reductive of her art to reduce it to the "drama" and "tea" of her life and it isn't fair. Her songs are works of art that deserve to stand on their own outside the Celebrity of it all. I really wish that while giving Taylor this chance, you'd step back from seeing everything she does as a part of those drama filled stories. The Moment I Knew and All Too Well were written about and inspired by Jake Gyllenhal, yes... But they're also stories of heartbreak we can all relate to outside of those stories. The Moment I Knew gives no tea, it gives an expression of heartbreak. Same with All Too Well. idk I just feel like it's 2020, do we have to keep talking about who Tay's songs are about or can we treat her like a normal musician and appreciate the songs for what they are?
