Lister CS 5/1 1939 Timing

Don't forget the timing! I transposed the marks on the idler gear to the teeth for the camshaft timing to make things easier.

Just bought a 1932 Lister cs 1/5 in bits - its been resleaved but the guys bought an alloy piston as gen Lister cast iron ones are unavailable - what do you recon - rebuild with the alloy or buy an idian cast iron one?

Hello, my cs 8/1 leak öil at Crankshaft Bearing Carriers. Is it ok to make a new paper or must I the cramshaft distanced Ihave no instraction for dectanced the cramshaft? And the fleyweehl dictance at the Cramshaft Bearing Carriers? Thanks for help

Deepak Murar I'm no expert on Lister Engines. I'm assuming you have a twin cylinder Lister. Try oiling the shaft that goes in and out of the injection pump and all the other linkage joints. Other than that, the counterweights on the cam shaft may be starting to seize, in which case you'll need to free them off.

You timing is not correct.. Wrongly..... This is followed not start engine..... You correctly teech you..... Or this video deleted....
