I love the fact that you show everything warts and all. :) Great fun!

That was a good fix for the compressor I was wondering what happened to it and it was a shame that original pipe failed but glad to have the channel compressor back 👍

It's a mancave fix. But it works.

That's a great modification. (Pirtek) can make you that pipe but if what you've done and save money that's great.

Thanks for the offer. But in typical man cave style I found a work around. 🤣🤣

It’s time you gave the Royal Enfield two cylinder diesel another coat of looking at I think it was the flywheel key that had Gone it would be nice to see that started and running and then you could find something for it to drive

Would be great to see the old Enfield running!!

I will have another go at that thing. I'm determined not to let it beat me. Lol

Your advice is most appreciated, I assumed the two cylinders aligned below the engine and compressor were tanks….darn, would like a vintage compressor, gauged up, a lovely warm grey, ‘tyred’ with pneumatics and with distressed complexion !……I am not so keen upon the travelling show, would be new painted variety neither

Nice compressor! Ill watch the other video on it later. Im wondering about the pressure cut off as im building a bigger version at the moment. 380L tank, giant Swan air pump and a little diesel to run it. My petrol compressor has a blow off that knocks it down to idle, but im not sure how the diesel one will be set up yet! No throttle control on the diesel
@NorfolkMancave2 жыл бұрын
Aw. If you watch the other vids on the compressor I do explain exactly how the blow off works on the diesel compressor. Enjoy buddy but but be carefully, 150 psi is dangerous if it can't blow off. 🤔

@@NorfolkMancave will do mate, im slowly working through all the old videos anyway, ill do the compressor ones next! Oh shit yeah, don't need a 6 foot bomb behind the shed!! Just had the tank tested to make sure it's good. I've got a 150psi blow off valve for the top of it as ill only run it at 120 i think

There were two types of fuel tanks used with the AA1 one had a large screw in plug on the bottom that held a filter that went inside the tank the other one had an outlet that went to a fuel filter bowl held on a bracket that was held by the two bolts that held the bottom of the tank, the two types are shown on page 116 of the operators handbook issue 3 that I have the book also gives all relevant service data. That tap thing is not shown on the drawing the pipe comes straight out of the tank to the filter, will the hose tail fit direct on the tank and face downwards.

Vert interesting mate. I will see if i can look it up. Thanks 😃

Always thoroughly enjoy your features and wondering if you can advise; there is an advertised ‘Volspray’ compressor on eBay, with a similar Petter engine, do you think this unit might be suitable for stapling, nailing and possible sanding. The owner is unaware of the CFM rating….thanks kindly David
@NorfolkMancave2 жыл бұрын
Hello David. I just had a look as it. Its mot got and storage tank so no its not really suitable for sanding or power tools due to lack of a tank. Looking at it I would say its only a low output. Its a Petter A1 engine on there. 😀
