Yall should get a 4 post storage lift and a 2 post. The 4 post right there in front of the lev rack for storing 2 vehicles, and the 2 post in front of it to actually work on vehicles.

After putting racks like that up for years, that's how you put them up. You just about have to climb all over it to get it done. Also, you may or may not know. You're not supposed to use old drill holes because the concrete can give way, and your holes can become bigger than you need. But this video probably came out after the lift has been installed. Nice new shop

Nah their old house was better with that big shop. Multiple spaces that can be used without moving everything in front of it. This long bay can get to be a pain. Although the missing bathroom in previous was a downside, but there's options. I have a shop with no water, I just use a lot of Simple Green to keep my hands clean

Watching peck brothers videos, they have this massive shop and huge truck and trailer, tons of jeeps, etc. You guys have a more reasonable setup with basically a 2 car and an extra space. That’s exactly what I want! I’d ideally love to have a whole massive setup that’s super over the top, but I realistically just want a simple setup. I have NO CLUE how I missed this video. But glad I came across it. Cool place, congrats! And as for y'all being capable of working on your vehicles, I'm the same way, I know a lot about vehicles and I'm very capable of doing anything that needs to be done to them, but the majority of the time I'd rather pay someone else to do it. I've repaired, built, and rebuilt many different vehicles over the years, and I got to where I just didn't like doing it anymore. I still love fast cars and offroading and will fix anything if I have to, but I'd really rather not have to. lol.

I sure could use a RV garage in addition to my 4 car garage. The Shelf Rack is awesome but I DIY'd my shelf system. For the tools instead of the rolling shelves yours has I incorporated multiple layers of barn door style rolling walls to hang all my tools according to discipline, wood working, mechanical tools and others. Great content as always, thanks for sharing.

I remember monkey climbing pallet racking like that at 41(for money). Please tell me that you Hilti bolted those uprights down. That can go very wrong if the load is top heavy, like engines etc. Cheap insurance. 12:06

4:00 - Generalization that proves some generalizations are damn accurate! How to appear wiser or more intelligent on a film set, is to have read the camera operators manual (or relevant manual for your dept) before turning up to work. Video tutorials are especially useful. This is also why some car-girl channels are waaaay more useful, as the gals will often make a video on how they did something, so they have it as reference for later when they need to do it again, and it's posted to the channel to make it easy to find when it's needed.

Congrats on the new house. Awesome rack system. Probably people get the idea that Kevin doesnt know how to work on cars because when you guys were living out of the Stepchild and had all work done on it... probably. But there were plenty of times that Kevin fixed or helped to fix vehicles on the trail, as well as the many many times he would install something while Chris was installing something else on your various vehicles. So yeah, it should be obvious he knows what he's doing... or at least it is to some of us. Happy Birthday Kevin! 41 just means you are warmed up and ready to start doing fun stuff. 🙂

Don’t buy a two post column lift. Go for a portable 4 post lift from rotary. Those things are awesome. You can pick up vehicles with just two or four columns depending on vehicle size.
