EU4: Masters is back for another season!
Join ‪@TheRedHawk‬ and ‪@TheSocialStreamers‬ as they guide us through the weekly duels!
This duel: ‪@MrFlorryworry‬ VS ‪@IamCogs‬
How does it all work?
- Two players are presented a quest before each match that they must complete within 60 minutes.
- Nations are random and the quest is a secret, players cannot practice the quest or the nation pick beforehand.
- The winner takes home 2 points while the loser gets no points. The player with the most score at the end of this season of Masters win the title!

It was probably: Gazikumukh, Karabakh, Samstkhe, and Ardabil as the regular choices; either Avaria or Trebizond as the Hard nation; and Biapas as the Insane nation.

w8 w8 am I missing something isn't Gilan easier then Karabakh as the 2nd one starts a vassal of QQ which depending on diplo situation can be really hard to break free from? All my exp is from playing as Ardabil into the this is Persia achievement.

i'd imagine karabakh can reliably get ajam & mamlukes as support independence allies as well as all of armenia in their first war, being a vassal is honestly favorable in these situations (besides the mana for stability)

@@seaofscissors I get how having an independence war can be helpfull. What I kinda forgot at least I think is that being Shia as Ardabil makes it harder then being Sunni. So makes sense

From experience. Getting the Mamluks to suppot you is actually quite difficult, and the volatility of the region's wars coupled with your pathetic dev (you need 50 Liberty desire to go independent during war) means that Karabakh has a rough time.

How is Gilan insane? Iirc correctly, I played a really relaxed and easy campaign with them (due to them starting with 20 mercantilism instead of 10). Their alliance stuff isnt too hard tbf

Pretty sure its just cause they start as an OPM outside Caucasia. In the context of the challenge I understand, but just playing casually it's not that insane.
