Got pretty good confirmation about a year back because my ex gf was harrased by someone through the same email and when she took the emails to the cops they just said they can't trace it. So ironically that made me trust the app even more

The fact you can't even select e region let alone country makes it useless imo. The whole point in using it is to access content banned in certain countries. For privacy just use tor.

I use their mail but the fact they say you get faster speeds with a paid plan means speeds are limited on the free plan.

I don't agree... First you get a VPN that actually gives you normal browsing "Speeds". Second, Tor is often slow as heck, so not useful for "standard use" (last I tried it, unless they've changed it's performance recently). Third, you don't have to use an entirely new browser for a VPN such as "Epic Privacy Browser". Fourth, you don't have to manually enter a VPN, try to find a decent VPN, etc. etc. Anyway, it's useful for people like me who don't "need" to access a specific country.
