Angelina at her final concert in Norway in July 2022, dedicated this song to her Grandma Mery, who was unable to travel to Norway due to health concerns. This video was made shortly after returning to LA. Every time Angelina sings this song now, I get far more emotional than I did before she dedicated it to Mery. "Don't you DARE walk away from me".

Aaron... I sent you a series of texts regarding I HAVE NOTHING... I think I am going to paste them here for all to see. But as to what you said in the beginning, YES, this is a Different Key - Angelina changed key essentially when she turned 16 - everything 15yo and earlier is in WHITNEY's Key, and if you do end up watching the "WHITNEY HOUSTON INFLUENCE" video I produced in the months following her PORTSMOUTH Show, you will see just how AMAZING she duets with Whitney ! Here is what the texts I sent you just a short bit ago say : - "Hey... just saw you did I HAVE NOTHING. Did I ever send you a message about that song and her history with it... ? I would suggest that since you just did the 'official cover video' at 16, you should absolutely pair it up AT LEAST with the "In-Studio" version she did at 13 as a tribute to Whitney Houston. And there about 7-9 more performances of that song, including professionally produced recordings, a television show production by a Norwegian TV Station, several TikTok and Instagram posts and of course a number of recordings of her at her live concerts over the past 3 years or so. It would be a wonderful journey to take with her, and doing so now would allow you to tie all of them together. Also, I produced a "Documentary Video" on I HAVE NOTHING sort of like I did the NOBEL PEACE PRIZE TRIBUTE STORY. It is my Pride-and-joy video... took about 250 hours to make. It ends with an entire performance of I HAVE NOTHING, in a production I call 'The ANGELINETTES CHOIR' in which 9 Angelinas sing the song TOGETHER in various combinations, with special Guest WHITNEY herself joining in at times. Great reaction Aaron! You caught right away the key change she did for the song. This was a smart thing that she did because she knows her voice. Now, some people feel that the key change changed the song and say she is not Whitney. Of course she is not Whitney, who can be? Angelina arranged the song to fit her vocal range and style so it would fit her better. First time I heard this from Angelina, my mouth was wide open when the song finished. I’ve often noted that Angelina doesn’t compete with the original artists. She gives us her own version, and sometimes it’s completely different, like Bohemian Rhapsody or Suspicious Minds. This time, you can compare Angelina and Whitney because the changes in presentation are minimal. No one could ever fault a fan for preferring Whitney’s classic, but Angelina’s easy power, depth, and richness give this a different feel entirely. In her earlier version at 13, it’s one of the few times we hear AJ at her vocal limits. But here, taking on one of the most famous divas singing her most famous song is a piece of cake. Amazing depth and fullness to her tone, and a vocal fry woven in as easy as breathing. You know right after that first verse that AJ is going to nail this her way-and its going to be stunning.

FYI - A J. did this at home with a backing track when she was 13 yrs. old and absolutely killed it and believe it or not I believe this 16 year old version is better ! Also I heard that when Whitney recorded this she was 29 years old and it took her around 20 takes to get it where she wanted ! A. J. being A. J. both of her versions were done in just 1 take. One of VP's at Republic Records said that there were just 3 artists that he worked with that could consistently record a song in one take - those 3 are Sam Smith , Beyonce and Angelina Jordan !!

Aaron... just before you said "Aaron is Speechless", Angelina said "I Have nothing Nothing NOTHING, If I Don't Have YOU". When she performed this in Portsmouth 1 year ago, she was dedicating this song to Us, her Angels, that were there to see her at her first ever show in the USA. As she said those words to us, she held out her arms, palms up, gesturing to indicate she was speaking about and to Us. IMAGINE HOW POWERFUL THAT WAS... to be there, right in front of her, just like in Glendale, maybe 10-12 feet away. It is one of the 3 times she dedicated this song of the 9 performances of it since age 13. This song, and Whitney herself, are deeply personal to Angelina. And that reverence and respect Angelina has for Whitney means she Always sings her songs with the utmost respect, such that she really is honoring Whitney every time she performs one of her songs, and she stays right within the style as Whitney herself performed, almost like a Tribute every time she sings Whitney Thanks for the Reaction Aaron. Nice reaction Aaron. If I am not mistaken. This studio version was “in the can” when she did her post pandemic concerts (3 all together in Norway). She sang this first (live) at Allsang pä Grensen in late June of 2022, and I think she sung it two more times live at Kurbadhagen. She extended her stay in Norway and I believe this studio version was released before she headed “home” to LA. ALL versions are of course, spectacular. If I am not mistaken, her last song she performed before she returned to the States was THIS live at Kurbadhagen on the 10th … and she dedicated it to Mery. ♥️ Chris Walker… help me putt with these dates and locations. It didn't take long for Whitney to sing this song a whole tone lower live to avoid voice fatigue. So Angelina sings it only a semitone lower than that. Which is wise, because het tessitura is a lot lower (and warmer) and her best tones are a bit lower! She has a natural deeper ,richer voice than Whitney ,I don't think Angelina can reach Whitney's upper range but Whitney could not get down to Angelina's low register with a shovel , just a thought

This is live ish and studio and probably spiced and produced.But when you hear her sing it live and won't take.I don't think you are going to find a Whitney.Houston alive one take in concert video that is as good as she was at age sixteen, Whitney was like twenty nine

I wasn't a fan of this song before AJ sang it at 13. It was one of those "A [n] year old can't do that!" moments we angels have experience over the years. I think that version was the closest to what WH did except AJ hit the high notes that WH never attempted in a live performance. It was such a fearless performance with AJ reaching for what was at the edge of her grasp and giving it her all. Amazing. And, now she has perfected her own version. However, she's the only person I've ever known who can improve on perfection. So, I'm sure I'll continue to be amazed for years to come.

I didn't particularly like this song back in the day. I was much more interested in Rock and Roll. I had the same problem with Whitney that I had with Shirley Bassey 20 years earlier. The voices were too powerful. I'm sure it is just a personal preference. It wasn't until 13 yo AJ sang this that I started liking it. Even then, it had to grow on me. AJ was true to form for me. She takes songs I don't know or don't really like and turns them into something I want to hear. No one else does that.

OK? Maybe you are the one who should get real? Angelina was 16!! Whitney was 29 or 30 when she did it in The Bodyguard. He said he hadnt felt the same from anyone else covering it since he heard Whitney sing it and its about the feelings she convey too, not only her voice and how she sing it.

These are fans that think if she burped the song it would be better than Whitney! I happen to think Whitney had such a nice, clear, round voice and everything a singer needs,in abundance, that she will never have an equal, the closest might be Bassey. I have to agree, however, with the other reply, Whitney was in her late 20s, AJ was a teen. If AJ would work on a few things, she could really be something and as hard as I've tried to like her, ignoring the replies from her rabid fans, her voice is too crackley. But she has a really nice voice when she leaves the (fry) behind her. But she will sing how she wants, she's been doing her thing for 18 years, and if I don't like it, I can scroll!! Lol. Personally, I will never understand the hold she has on her fans. I guess a lot of them protect her like their grandchild. Still bazaar.
