Literature Reviews: Creating coherence in your writing

This video is for Master's and Doctoral thesis/dissertation and research writers. How do you get your Literature Review chapter or section to flow? In this video, we'll look at several techniques. These techniques can be used in writing generally but they are very useful in the Literature Review. The concept of "old to new information flow" best explained to me how sentence-to-sentence flow works within paragraphs. Even when a writer uses linking (transitional) devices, a paragraph can still be unclear when the writer fails to place easy/known/previously introduced information at the start of sentences and new/difficult information at the end.
