With everything that's going on in the world, I wish there was a dedicated witchy/metaphysical social media that we could get together globally and have a day where at the same time everyone could do a cleansing meditation / spell / prayer for healing and peace and growth and justice... I think it could be very powerful. At Church, we used to have a yearly thing called Pray Over Iowa, where all the Iowa Churches of Christ would gather together for a day of concentrated prayer and song. Something like that on a global scale done virtually could be amazing!

5 years ago I got married in Kent then we drove to Wiltshire & started our honeymoon being at Stonehenge for the Summer Solstice Sunset & Sunrise. It was amazing. It was feeling like a million years ago though with all the crazy things going on in the World right now! I just wasn’t feeling the positive Litha vibe during today 😢 So I was determined to try this evening to rekindle some of the feeling of the Solstice. I had a fire pit ritual in my tiny back garden burning magical herbs I’ve grown at my allotment. After that on my big tv I’ve had on the livestream of the sunset from Stonehenge & I’ve also been watching you Hearth. Thank you for all that you do. Watching your videos has been helping me so very much during this Pandemic. I’m so grateful that you have continued to make videos. Summer Solstice blessings to you xxxx

@HearthWitch absolutely entranced with those few moments of the incense burning and the music. Would you consider making a meditation video where that lasts for 10/15 minutes maybe? Even though I have my own space there is something captivating about yours ❤️ Thank you and brightest of blessings to you for Litha 🙏💜🙏

New subbie here. I am just now setting up an altar after years of not having one. It's a long story. Right now, I have a bowl of crystals, my cauldron, 2 mini candles, my animal totem stone, another stone I found outside somewhere. And above my altar, on the wall hangs my first, ever (after 30 some odd years) wand. It was a gift from the thinleaf alder tree in my backyard. Thank you for sharing and Happy Litha!

I haven't yet designated a spot for a seasonal altar for my non-Wicca seasonal celebrations but do have a workings altar, an altar for the gods, and an ancestor altar. There's a table in my garage ready for repurposing into an altar that I got out of a dumpster (I love finding perfectly fine things from dumpsters. It yields me sellable or usable things and saves space in the landfill at the same time) which I'll use for a seasonal altar eventually This one is nice and I like it more than the one you did last year. For some reason it's more aesthetically pleasing.

Loved the simplicity but I feel the mild frustration when it comes to not having much to put up I ended up adding sea shells and baby shark teeth to my altar this year which I usually do not do, but with limited supplies and space I had to get creative

Your altar sounds cool 😸 I'm gonna add seashells and a dried coral to my altar this year.

I have never had a seasonal altar, only personal. I had had an idea for it but like you said the more you plan the less likely you are to actually do it. Anyways regardless of how "simple" it is it is inspiring none the less. :)

Also I love this altar space. It's lovely. You really spoke to me with not being able to get rid of the negativity. Living in the U.S., I've been so angry between covid and police brutality to our poc. It's kinda nice to know I'm not the only one struggling to release. 😅

This will be my first Litha altar this year. Yellow cloth, my salt lamp which only has a pinkish orange color, and I have a miniature stonehenge kit coming tomorrow that I thought would be perfect for this. As far as how what's going on has changed anything, I have a candle that I've carved a BLM sigil into that I've been burning in my lantern every night I'm home. I'm going to burn as much of it down as I can before solstice and then maybe burn the remains of it in the bonfire Saturday night. Still considering what else I might do with that.

I haven’t yet set my altar up for Litha. This year, I have dried flowers I bought online and flowers I started pressing earlier this year since I cannot get fresh ones. I’m still trying to plan it out. This Sabbat definitely snuck up on me; it seems days are just passing along without much differentiation even with work.

I so want to see the sunrise over Stonehenge too. Maybe we can do a discord meet up there one day? I’m probably going to watch at least a bit of the live videostream at Stonehenge this weekend so I feel a bit more connected to others celebrating. Is that something you’re going to check out Hearth? I’ve not set my altar up yet. I feel like the house is too cluttered because everything is being delivered and I am drowning in cardboard boxes! I have chosen sunflowers as my focus though and have clothes, earrings I’ll do a working with and the sunflower I planted at Imbolc is growing well 😊. I’ll burn my Litha incense and do a tarot spread. Whenever the mystery box makes it to me I’ll be sure to use whatever treats you are sending too x
