Excellent testing! I think you're correct though you would need to run each of the batteries multiple times and average them together. Your data does seem fairly consistent especially the control group. I used to be a Test engineer and I find your data consistent which makes it reliable. Great job! I appreciate you taking the time to inform us. I like the no B S approach.

Interesting! Have you done a cold lead acid test yet? Would be neat to see at 20F where the SLA battery hits 10.99v. I think that graph would get a lot of ppl to switch to Li batteries. As for terminology, technically they are both lithium-ion batteries. LiFePo4 is usually shortened to "LFP", and the other types that are nickel based are usually comprised of Nickel, Cobalt, Manganese. Or "NMC" for short. Some Li batteries are now using Aluminum instead of Manganese, or NCA batteries. I think everyone knows what you mean, but maybe LFP vs. NMC is an easier way to differentiate them when comparing.

I have not done the cold SLA yet but it is coming! In the ice fishing niche, battery companies refer to 3S 11.1v NMC as Lithium-Ion, 4S 12.8 LFP as LiFeP04 and 4S 14.8V NMC as just NMC. Since most of my viewers are hard water anglers, I try and stick the the niche specific lingo, but... You are absolutely correct in your terminology. Hi, I appreciate the great information and battery content you produce. Question: I currently run a Garmin echomap plus 95Sv with livescope lvs32. Can you do a video difference running best test time between Amped 14.8v 19Ah NMC vs 12v 18Ah LiFeP04? Which Battery would preform best all season with this setup?

Check out reBel Batteries - they're in the US, have fish finder batteries and are working on having everything in-house this year. Sounds like they're really trying to make quality batteries; they even sent one to Will Prowse for review and you know he doesn't hold back!

@@iceholepower8012 After I got the battery and charger I had a question about the charger which was no big deal so I went to the web site and didn't find a phone number or email address so I tried the chat feature and no one manning the chat desk. I'm thinking what does someone do with this 10 yr warrenty?

Speaking from experience here, sometimes the chat feature on websites do not work. They are supposed to generate an email to get someone's attention but in my case, they randomly end up in my spam box. If I were you, I would just google Amped Outdoors, all their info pops up including a phone number.
