Yep! We definitely can hook up solar panels to this system to charge our batteries. This is one of the reasons we decided to upgrade our system, so we can eventually do solar, if we'd like. Part of our longterm plan. Crossing our fingers we'll get there one day...

Just curious how tall are you? I’m 6’4”. Can’t imagine being able to be in any kind of seated position in there. I would need to be prone and with some sort of ventilation. I’m an electrician. I remember the days of belly crawling under old houses in my younger days.

I’m 5’10” and the hatch opening was just above where the camera was positioned, so I could see daylight. I knew there wouldn’t be ventilation, so that’s why I practiced a lot before actually installing. It was for sure a tight fit!!
