@@sodaftpm185 doesnt matter that much bc its not like u cant use the spells without a HOPT, so even something like sparks can end up being bonkers just bc u could create a constant loop with it. I mean, with smoke grenate we saw what can happen with a "crappy" card from 2004 (legacy of darknes) can do if the right cards are there.

Excellent match. This is old school Yu-Gi-Oh! at its best. I'm really excited about the next match. I'm going with Wind-Ups though. More consistent and more powerful overall.

Only sad thing about the new CBC format will be not seeing Chaos Yata randomly stealing games against stuff like Salamangreat out of nowhere and laughing that the deck from 2004 can sometimes beat modern stuff. Still great though! Still cheering to see Chaos Yata do well.

@@Partylikeits-br7bb I had played the Series with my brother like thrice now ... and believe me, if you dont play BW mirror matches, no way you are gonna win, you may steal a game sure but you will get dominated easely for the next 10 matches ... it will be until clash of rebillion with performages that Gage will dominate again AND whoever pulls toadally awesome will win till the end of the series (I mad my brother sooooo pale and disgust to a satisfying degree for me when I pulled toad, he didnt win a single match

4:38 i don't get it: you say it's a standard move, summon Stratos and pass. But why tho? The opponent has Reasoning & Monster Gate in hand. He could have used the gate to potentially summon a Diamond Dude and get a free spell next turn. Also: going through the deck is essential for it due to Phoenix Blade. There is no sense in holding back the resources with this deck. You always can came into play with dimension fusion, monster reborn, etc, while holding the opponent in check with decree. You can get back all spells from the grave with stone excavation and dmoc.

When he had excav in the 3rd duel, his banish pile was 2 mali 1 dasher. It wouldn't have really helped to summon them at that time, he couldn't otk, so he prob wanted to save it for a better push. Wouldn't have mattered since lith had raigeki anyway.
