It's great see 2 Claas in the field we are so happy reliability of the 700 series we have started running a third this year and with the amount of combinable crops we are having very buisy year. Good to see other Mr Saunders doing great and you have been great Ambassador to him and the business with the amount contractor,s cropping up (No pun intending) having publicity is important or like us you build your business on reputation and loyalty which still exists in our way of living!

Super video as always really nice kit when I was on harvesting in Australia we had fire fighting unit like that and when you have fire regarding chemical mixed in afew hundred gallons goes a long way and doesn't allow fire to flare up again

I was filming a new 8900 lexion last week which replaced a 780 on a big farm in the NE of Scotland. It is hugely impressive compared to the one it replaced. The forward speed was amazing.

George Them fire suppression units are worth there weight in gold, they're pretty common here in Western Canada alot of guys will have them mounted on the side of the chaser bin, and usually also have a tractor and disc plus a pickup truck with fire suppression unit sitting ready at the edge of the field, I highly suggest at looking into them like i said they're worth their weight in gold

George where you based mate? I worked for Pecks for 20years on JCB and have just gone on my own since March, the cab fan popping fuses could possibly be your a/c compressor clutch, disconnect the clutch then try a new fuse see if the fan then works .
@GeorgeSaunders2 жыл бұрын
I'm based near Sandy in Bedfordshire Michael. I have since this video found out the fan does still work, not tried it again with the Aircon on but I suspect like you say it could be the compressor clutch. I'll check in the morning 👍

Great video, I guess it’s dam hot without the fan working ,we’ve had to replace the fan twice on our kubota, and that’s located way under the seat ,but I must admit second time doing it was a lot easier, just really enjoying the content,great job🚜👍

Blimey George I don't many Chaser Bin Trailers in the UK farming videos I've seen! And yes that big Claas Header was a beast and also something not normally seen in the UK farms. I wonder if they will start using Draper Headers soon as those have their own road folding wheels on the header which would save all that mucking around having a tractor there with a header trailer. Better to have the draper version saves lots of time then and those can be 30 or 40 feet wide headers too. 😉

Great video, as someone who works on a farm plus is a cyclist I can't really say I'd be as daft to cycle down a dual carriageway. I think being safe is what you make of it, I either go early morning with less cars on the road, or after 7pm when most people have traveled home from work, either way your less likely to annoy people and less likely to get hurt
@carlwood14322 жыл бұрын
That 1500 ltrs could stop a fire getting out of control and from becoming a big fire because all fires start small. Also how do u manage to shove ur combine on so quick is your grain loss out the back not massive or does it just look quick on the video

Lots of people think you have to have a giant combine but if you don't have the infrastructure to handle it it's useless. We do lots and lots of round bales but our fields are from flat and nice to rough and steep so we use 10.5 and 2 9ft mowers and the only improvements we can make is use 3 10.5 . We would love to go faster but 7 mph is the best field and 3.5 is the worst so you have to use what works but I still would love to have 3 30ft mowers 🤣🤣until I ran over the front mower great video 👍

When is the A1 Ever Suitable for a Push bike,Its bad enough in a Car 🤭 Having Firefighting Equipment is a Good idea ,Should the Thing Catch Fire,What i Want to know is How Do Farmers Using these Massive Combines and Tractors Ever Make Any Money ???,Surely buying the Latest Massive Tackle every few Years Wipes Any Profits Away. In One of my Many Different Jobs i Worked on a 13,000 Acre Farm Near York,New Holland used to Bring Over Around 6 Of the Biggest Combines they Made And Also Some Little ones That Followed Collecting the Chaff behind to See how much they were Loosing ,Also a Full team of Technicians it Was Like the WRC in Rallying but for Combines.

What was the header size on the 780?. It looked a good 40 footer to me. The cyclist now have priority under the new laws. Despite the fact they are stupid bloody laws and the cyclists are a pain in the ass anyway.

I commented on a post on Facebook the other day that cyclists shouldn’t be allowed on dual carriageways, that upset the lycra brigade. Much of the traffic on there moves at the same speed as a motorway so who in their right mind would want to cycle down the A1?
