Como bien dices, este nombre ha llegado a tenerse como algo peyorativo, aunque últimamente parece que no. Soy aficionado a los temas étnicos y he podido ver muchos casos similares con otros pueblos. Para nada soy "enemigo" de los Dakota, todo lo contrario... Un saludo sincero.

@VALHALLAoVIKING Hello, just a question ... why do you write "sioux" and not 'Lakota' (or 'Dakota') or the particular tribe, 'Minneconjou' (or 'Wahpekute') for example? They were called "Sioux" by their enemies, especially the 'Ojibwe". And I don't suppose, that you are an enemy of the Lakota.
