This is a heavy tuned Kreidler 90cc engine, original Kreidler cylinder with bore 53.7 mm stroke 39.7mm - 5 gears - Rotary valve - Ftt UltraSap ignition - Ftt calculated exhaustpipe - Max power 30hp at 14.000rpm, with normal fuel 98 octan, no additions, beside lubrication 1:25
This test run was made Sept. 19, 2011 some days before te match.
In less than 4 sec tot 100 km/h
Topspeed in video is 106 km/h (at 150m about 130km/h)
Km/h in 4 gears: 53 - 67 - 92 - 106
5th gear in video not used, the track is to short.
The last and fastest Dutch Prostock record run over 150 meter was driven in May, 2014 with time 6.62 sec, 0.01 sec reaction time. Which is 3.85 sec to 100km/h

I started racing in 1964. Computers were still not there. I did hardly no calculation. With the advent of the computer everything has changed and complicated calculations are no problem any more. All old historical notes were struggling. In the past 15 years I got a number of programs. Beside I did developed many programs myself in Excel. It was my profession to do so for my employer for many years.
In 2003 also began making calculations for third parties. Not everything, but a lot can be calculated very accurately for any twostroke engine. For instance the exhaustpipe can be calculated in almost exactly the correct speed for which the setup and cylinder is optimal. Even by a large kart engines manufacturer (TM) was found to be not entirely correct. With a new calculated combustion chamber and exhaustpipe it was far better then before.
This is also partly due to the information I got from Jan Thiel and was freely available after retiring from Aprilia racing end 2007.
Also the UltraSap ignition developed by my son Raimond was a very important part. The combustion and power are strongly influenced. Read about this subject my note on Facebook

I love driving small selfmade 2-stroke engines, which are tuned to the limit. I do not understand the fun of buying a 4 cylinder valve engine with more than 100 or 200hp and hence the circuit or even less on the public roads

Im really impressed with this machine. It proves that an old kreidler engine that is like 30 - 40 years can do almost the same acceleration as streetbikes with more than 10 times more cc. Its way cooler.

50cc twin 39hp is on the cranckshaft, not on the rearwheel. On the rearwheel a 50cc twin is maximum 34,5hp at 22.200rpm My 90cc is 30hp on the rearwheel.

Safety, of course. It seems it can handle the weight, but it is too little rubber in my opinion. Also, although it is made go straight, or something, it does not feel able to lean too much on turns. Certainly, I am not worried about the looks, I have ridden bikes that were not even as good looking as this one xD.

By the start of the video, you can see the shift petal by the footstep. These runs were made to optimise the time of the quickshift which was new made. You see the camera moves to the ignition to record the adjustment. So I don't you clutch and keep trottle full while shifting by foot.

30hp is not the limit for this engine, it should be 36hp. And the ulitmate for a 90cc in the right bore/stroke shoukld be 40hp

+99rsk ligt er aan wat voor fs1 een oude met roterende inlaat en 16 mm en een fs1 uitlaat wel en dan de inlaat wat veranderd dan liep die wel 100 maar niet met gemak hoor... me kreidler rsh die liep met een zwarte super en 19 mm bing en 5 bak dan een goeie uitlaat goed 100.

+Ron glazenwasser alles valt of staat natuurlijk ook met welke tandwiel verhouding je reed. zelf weet ik het niet meer. reed ook met een 2F2(membraam)blokje. liep ook 90. iemand bij ons in't dorp had eerst een kreidler die 100+ liep. heeft ook een yamaha FS-1(roterende schijf) gebouwd. liep zeker 100+. stukkie uit de roterende schijf halen(niet te veel) bracht al veel winst.

Well 20hp for a 50cc is what many tuners can reach, but this is about 74% of what is possible. I never met a tuner which reach 27.5hp out of a 50cc engine, which is possible. Yes the few who can built a pure Kreidler 90cc engine with 30hp will not sell it, neither do I. And I don't look for a 6 speed, because I do have the best a Schaftleitner. Have a good time building any twostroke, and try to make the best ever. Look my grafics on facebook to know what this means. Greetz Luc
