So Christene to explain who are the two guys @5:48: In the story of Fruits Basket, each family member turns into an animal of the zodiac when the other gender, who is not part of the family, touches them. So the head of the family doesn’t like any of the family members to get close to anyone who is not part of the family. Not only that, but they also have powers, so in that scene with the guy in the suit touching the guy’s forehead, he is literally causing amnesia because Yuki, the guys singing the song, got to close with an outsider. It’s sad 😢

Uh, this is actually an Anime called Fruits basket, the orange haired boy is named Kyo, No they are not brothers, the guy who's singing isn't adopted, but that's just how the song went. Him liking a guy isn't Canon, he ends up with a girl same as the other dude. Emiruchu was just shipping two characters (who would look cute together) but it isn't canon. Phew, sorry if this sounded mean I was just trying to fix up the misunderstanding shown through the song ^^

To explain, This animatic is an AU of when Yuki Sohma(the silver haired boy) falls in love with the Kakeru (brown haired boy). In Yuki’s story, he was brought to the Sohma residence to live with the God of the Zodiacs in the family, Akito (who is a terrible person to Yuki and the other Zodiacs) by his mother (who is also horrible as she only thinks about her son’s position in the family and not his own well-being). As for after the kiss, Hatori (the Sohma family doctor who has the power to erase memories) uses his power to erase Kakeru’s memory of what happened with him and Yuki, probably from Yuki’s choice. So Kakeru doesn’t remember what happened of that night, which is why Yuki was heartbroken at the end. Another thing to add, the girl with the brown hair and pink ribbons is Tohru, the main girl, and the orange haired boy is Kyo, Yuki’s rival and has crush on Tohru

I never watch the Anime but I read the mega and it is soooo good! So Pretty much it is based off of the Chinese calendar. The boy with the white hair turns into a mouse (the boys turn when a girl that Is not affected by the curse is hugs them. Same happens with the girls with a boy) orange hair boy turns into a cat/monster. They have a VERY Complicated relationship. When I was reading the mega I thought they were going to be together xD

The grey hair guys name is Yuki, and hes a Zodiac which is the “things you don’t know”. And the person whos standing outside is Akito which is the “leader” of the zodiac clan, Sohma. The guy with black hair is the family doctor for the sohmas, and also a Zodiac. And hes erasing the memories of brown guy. Since the public cant know about the zodiac curse and usually and always breaks the relationship of the person and zodiac member.

Fruits Basket is a romance anime about the Chinese Zodiac I would say more but NO SPOILERS But it’s pretty great! idk if you would like it, but you might this specific animatic is one of the popular ships in the fandom, it’s not canon (I personally don’t ship it because I HATE the brown haired guy but even so this animatic was really good) The ending of the animatic makes more sense when you If/when you watch the show lol (it’s in funimation idk where else you can find it)

Fruit Basket in a nutshell is about a girl who meets a group of guys that are embodiment of the Japanese Zodiac/Animals. This relationship is not a Canon relationship, but I thought it was adorable. Fruits Basket is a very wholesome anime/manga with a lot of different themes, with big ones being centered around family, love, identity, and friendship. I honestly think you'd enjoy the different lessons this anime teaches you, especially those that Tohru (the brown-haired girl tht looked at the grey-haired boy at the end) expresses are lessons she learned from her mother. You're a parent yourself, so I think you'd like these sweet moments! You can find the recent Fruits Basket reboot (and the original too i believe) on Hulu! It currently has two seasons out, with the third and final season coming out this year I believe! Fun fact: Emirichu has said a bunch of times that Fruits Basket is one of her favorite animes, and that the female lead, Tohru, kind of shaped who she wanted to be as a person. Its really sweet XD !

first off, i think you'd really like fruits basket, its an anime that is being revamped and you can find it on Hulu and funimation, as well as other places that i probably dont know of this takes place in japan, im not sure how they look upon the lgbt+ community though. when the song says "induce amnesia" and the man in a suit is sitting infront of main guys crush, that is Hatori, a doctor or hypnotist who erases peoples memories when needed, in the pannel i think that's what he was doing since they dont have any relation and havent met in the series. in case you decide to watch it I dont want to spoil anything major, however I really think it'd be something you'd enjoy
