I'm so glad she's alive and healing. As a small farm owner, who has worked with horses my whole life, I try to never be complacent. Horses are incredible animals, but also big, strong, and fast moving. Freak accidents like this can occur to anyone, no matter how much experience you have. But like her, I couldn't imagine a life without them.
