Little Things - Willie Nelson Cover

The Other Favorites tackle one of my all-time favorite Willie songs, learned from many a late-night jam with my Dad and uncles.
Our guitars are Harmony H-162s masterfully restored by Morris Rowell at Nature's Harmony Guitars; mine is a '59, Josh's is a '62. The vocal mic is a Vanguard V13, the guitar mics are sE Voodoo VR2s, and everything was tracked using a Tascam 424 Mk II cassette recorder before being mixed in Pro Tools.

Carson sounds so good for this song, it's almost like he wrote it himself. Josh adds the extra sweetness that probably has made this more popular than when it came out for Willie. For what little time I've been following your music, you two constantly outdo yourselves. It's like you both went on a treasure hunt looking for older songs to present to a new audience,, and I'm glad you are doing them all justice. Please never abandon the older tunes-- there's a lot of material there still waiting-- and your new tunes are excellent.
