Hi Selma, thank you for a wonderful podcast! The silver lining to this craziness is that we’ve all had to slow down and enjoy the little things, and each other. Dinners with everyone able to sit down together, great desserts, and for me lots of knitting and knitting podcasts! I can’t wait for this to be done but until then, thanking God for our blessings!

We recently survived a 3-day power outage as a result of a freak snow-and-wind storm. Getting power back on Easter made us SO grateful for the things we usually take for granted--like heat and running water--and makes "normal" quarantine conditions seem a joy in comparison. :)

I am so fortunate to have so many silver linings. My husband and I get along so well, and we are still able to make each other laugh everyday. Our kiddos who are all young adults contact us almost daily to check in and update us on their situations (I feel maybe they are checking to see that we are still ok), I have knitting, quilting, many girlfriends who touch base often, podcasters such as yourself to entertain, and wine. Life is very good just now and I am hoping to keep it that way. Stay well

I am an ER nurse and have been able to go to work and provide for my family as I have in the past. Going to work is a struggle, but I think it has created more of a team environment which is refreshing. I have taken care of 1 patient who was positive and so far my silver lining is that "I am asymptomatic" thus far. Few more days yet, but so far so good. My daughter has moved in with her boyfriend's family, which has left me a room to use as my craft room. I spin, weave, knit and crochet. I also quilt and do needle punching. I am painting my room Chicago Fog. Which is a pretty gray with a bluish/pinky undertone. Being an Illinois girl, the name was perfect. We will overcome this pandemic and become stronger. Thank you for your podcast and all your pretty knits.

My Blessings are many......I have had the opportunity to seek and enjoy more knitting podcasts such as yours (enjoy you very much)and of course I have been able to relax with my knitting (guilt free) a lot more. There are old projects being finished and new ones being started with new skills added along the way. Spending more time in the yard right now is a real treat for this time of year. The ability to cook more with less stress and time limits is a big plus. Fitting a few home projects as well.

My husband and I are very fortunate in this crisis. We live in a rural area and have lots of room to be outside with no one else around. We have a large freezer full of food. We are retired and our income is not affected. We are very fortunate, indeed. Thanks you to all who are working during this time and keeping businesses going. You are all heroes in my book. 💕

What beautiful yarn .I think the silver lining is that families pare able to spend time with one another now we are so busy and we fill every moment of our free time with sports and extracurricular activities and work that we don't have time to relax anymore the stay-at-home order has given our family an opportunity to stay-at-home enjoy each other and relax

Thank you for another great podcast! There was an outbreak of the Corona -19 virus in our Senior Living building. Our children had a sibling virtual meeting and as a result strongly recommended that we move in with our youngest daughter near us until this is over. We were touched by their love. Now after three days the Numbers there have increased to16 residents and 4 careworkers. We are feeling it for our friends there but glad to be safe and with our dear family.❤️🙏🏻❤️

As a family, the four of us spend more time together, there is no rush to drive to activities in the afternoon, we play boardgames and talk more. In addition, the St Bernard we got last summer makes us go hiking once a day, often all four together. We have plenty of time for that now, and it is so good to for walks in the wood, no matter what the weather is.

One really beautiful silver lining is that our environmental impact is so much less. I haven't been driving much at all and I use almost every scrap of our groceries. I've even found myself washing and reusing plastic containers that I might have otherwise put in the recycling bin. My great grandmother would be so proud ... she was one of those little old ladies that lived through the depression and saved and reused everything! Thanks for another lovely podcast! xo

Having survived the bushfires in Southern Australia, earlier this year we have spent some considerable time endeavouring to see the 'silver lining'! Ours has been a building of relationships within our family, a sharing of highs and lows and a continued desire to smell the roses and find a 'good moment' in each day. The 'shut-down' we are experiencing enables us to rethink the pace of our lives, see the beauty in the regrowth and the resilience in nature. And I have spent some very precious moments connecting with the positive podcasters from all over the world. I thank you for bringing us some joy every time. Gail
